Triskaidekaphilia
Thirteen things that are going well for me this Friday the 13th:
- Good news on the house hunting front from multislackerkim
- Pager duty has been entirely different since the team got our 3G card - the oncall can actually do things with their nights and weekends, rather than spending the whole week tethered to landlines and a few coffeeshops with reliable wireless hot spots
- SIFF
- The weather's warming up - still a bit cool for this time of year, but the forecast says we may not be colder than Siberia at times over the weekend.
- Bear McCreary's take on All Along the Watchtowers on the ipod
- The forthcoming iPhone looks like it will get sign-off for use with my work email, which will probably tip the scale for me
- Avenue Q lined up for Tuesday
- Our team scrum is clicking well this year; in particular, several quick sprint demos under our belts, and the business teams now trust that "we'll just work on X for now" really isn't code for "Y and Z will never happen"
- Happily enjoying a relaxing retirement from the Guild Master spot in WoW
- I was not on The Conference Call(s) last weekend
- Two short weeks until my CSA starts up
- The Observation Deck at the office is now open for the season (as has been the Elliot Bay Water Taxi, albeit for somewhat longer)
- One more week until the Fremont Fair officially kicks off summer
