Es macht Schnee!

Way to make the whole "it's December now" thing unambiguously clear - it's been snowing today, even in Seattle (where having Puget Sound immediately next door normally smooths out the temperature swings enough to keep us in the rain range). It was sparse but big-and-flaky when I headed out for brunch, got heavy enough while I was eating to start sticking visibly on side streets, but had calmed down to a snow sprinkle that was turning to uniformly clear slush by the time I finished and went back to the apartment.

It's turning into another several days of movies (last night was SIFF's Kino Series, with a double feature of Der Blaue Engel with Marlene Dietrich in her first talkie role, and M with Peter Lorre in his first major role, hence the German creeping into titles everywhere). On the way over, I was almost wondering if I really needed my jacket, but it was feeling a little light by the time I headed home. Tonight was supposed to be the SIFF holiday fundraiser poster auction, but they rescheduled for a later weekend, presumably because of the weather.
