I never think grammar or spelling should ever indicate anything.

My friend is letting me borrow this book called Eats, Shoots, & Leaves; it's a completely ridiculous pretentious book written about the importance of punctuation and how it's not being taught properly and how it changes everything if you mess it up.

Hold on.

Now what is the point of writing? The point of writing is to get something across to the reader through words. Does it matter that I accidentally hold my shift key for too long or not at all or that my fingers slipped and I did not notice or that my thoughts run too fast for my fingers to catch up and I might type "the" instead of "they"? Does it ruin the meaning?

I guess that is all in the point of view of the reader.

But then again, half the people in the world are trying to make the other half feel inferior. Maybe that's all. What does a SQUIB-YOU-DIDN'T-FOLLOW-THE-RULES-AND-FORGOT-COMMAS mean? "I am better than you, you little squib don't know shit about language"? Maybe it's power. Maybe that's just a little bit of it.

Sorry I keep theorizing in the middle of nothing don't mind it too much.
