would you be the one to let our eyes meet?

Last night after work I went to Folklife for day two. I wish the weather would've been a bit warmer, but what can you do? Alex told me this weekend that she is definitely moving down to Green Lake. I'm moving into the house next weekend, so everything will be finally settled. I can't wait to have some consistency in my life.

A few pics from the last week or so, from Green Lake and Folklife. . .

Ear to ear smiles set the the tone when an old song from the Police is recognized over the masses and sums it all up: every little thing she does is magic. Closed eyes, drifting away when I hear that familiar verse. As clear as the summer sun, it's more than a feeling. An ordinary rock made sacred with a summer pact between friends, while strains of a serenading accordion echo through the adjacent parking garage. From bruises to break-up songs, cheerleading cliches and everything in between, late night fades into early morning. Blind navigation in Wallingford, is that even really a place? Trusting instincts to take us where we need to go. Action lists made over Disney movies and mango sorbet tells us there's a first time for everything. If we were walking through a crowd, you know I'd be proud. You know that I would.
