somebody told me one time about a quote they read once --i don't remember the quote verbatim, but it basically said that "true artists" don't always know the meaning of their work or can't explain it. i'm hoping to god that is true ( although i'm skeptical ).
as always, i appreciate criticism and ... right now, i'd like to know what meaning ( if any ) other people get from this ( what do you think it's about ?), because i'm not sure of it myself.
eitherway, it's good to finally write something i'm proud of, even if this doesn't happen as often as i'd like it to.
( also: i would like somebody to help me out with getting this song to music. if you think you're no good, i don't care. so long as we've got similar musical tastes, it should pan out. i'm willing to change around the lyrics a little to suit a good tune. the reason i'm asking this is because i'd like to sing at least one original song at the talent show this year, if there is one. if not, i'll sing it somewhere else. )
