I'm going to have a garden! And a yard! And a lavender bush! And a mortgage payment and what if it all goes horribly wrong?... and I don't know how to pack and I have to move all my things and aaaaaa!
It is mine now. I've been accumulating paint-related things (there are 2 really ugly walls, and several badly painted ones; they will soon all be "pale crocus", if all goes well). And I'm bringing over a bag with TP, soap, and anything else that occurs to me tomorrow (technically today).
I'm not renting a truck, but only because my mother is. She's coming up with some furniture and things for me, so she needed to rent a truck for that, and she'll have it through Saturday early evening.
The floors seem pretty clean (it was a foreclosure that was empty for a while before I got it, I suspect the bank cleaned it up to make it more sellable). But I'll check and see if the grout wants sealing.
part of the problem with pre-packing is that I have no where to *put* all my stuff. My books are all in banker's boxes, but if I build many more boxes, I'll have nowhere to walk... (I never entirely unpacked from moving in here, the walkway's already lined with half-packed boxes)
I now own a ladder, and a shovel. But I'm fairly sure my poor lavender bush is dead.
