Stuffed pumpkin

tentative plan:
Cut pumpkin in half, clean out and save seeds. Cook ~2C short grain brown rice, at least partly in broth. Fry up (in order of addition) chopped onions (2 maybe?), garlic, ground chicken (1 lb), and mushrooms, until more or less done. Add to rice, along with torn-up bits of spinach, salt, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and maybe cloves. Maybe add some bits from the top half of the pumpkin, too. Scoop into pumpkin half, put same in a baking dish (in case of leaks), cover with foil, and bake at 375 for an hour or so, until the pumpkin is squishy.

Any alterations anyone would suggest?
