I have a 20-pound-or-so pumpkin that I want to make be dinner, with other ingredients. I'm almost having thoughts of cutting the pumpkin in half, filling/mixing it with whatever, and using one pumpkin half as kind of a casserole dish. Any thoughts?
I'm thinking that whatever it is should probably involve pork (or maybe ground chicken), and raisins. Maybe bread, too. Probably spiced with cinnamon, though I'm not sure what else. I likely shan't be making this 'til Friday or so, so there's time to get any stuff I need.
