RIP

What a day this has been. First the loss of Farrah Fawcett and then to learn of Michael Jackson's passing as well.

As a child of the 70's and 80's, both were a huge part of my childhood and growing up years. I remember watching Charlie's Angels, running around with my pretend gun in my hands and wishing I had Farrah's fantastic hair with the angel-like wings and listening to my brother and his friends go on and on about her famous bathing suit poster. Who would have thought that one of Charlie's Angels would be consumed by the the same disease that took my father from me. Such a tragedy, but in the face of adversity, she gave others hope, by showing her struggle and by fighting the good fight. God bless you Farrah, rest in peace.

I remember dancing in my room to "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", "Blame It On The Boogie" among others and just being enthralled with Michael Jackson and his dance moves. I always tried to emulate them, but could never do them justice. People will remember Michael for a lot of things, his music, his dancing, his one glove, his philanthropy, his quirkiness and his private and personal struggles. What I'll remember the most, is his passion for making great music and for entertaining people. Taken so young and so suddenly. God bless you Michael, now you can sing with the angels.
