Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there in LJ land, and even if you're not a mom, I hope you have a wonderful day.
Even though my mom and I are thousands of miles apart we managed to make today special. We had a long telephone conversation and while I wish that I was able to be back home with her to celebrate her awesomeness, she reassured me that just being able to talk to me brightened her day. My mom ROCKS!
Pretty soon Leslie and I will be off to Casa De Pico for lunch with her Grandma and her mom, Bonnie. Yummy! Last night was pizza and poker, where I lost my shirt. Bonnie joked that I was like the Federal Reserve because I had to borrow from the "money bucket" more than once. LOL
