When Shalimar had asked what he'd say when she'd asked if he'd go with with Rachel, he hadn't been sure what to say. She was pretty, funny, caring, stalwart, and all that other stuff that was really noble. It was definitely a bonus that she looked damned good in that skirt. He slowed his pace as he approached the fountain to take her in. Damn.

He was clad in a pair of black slacks and a deep purple button down untucked under a black blazer. He'd cleaned up his facial hair a bit, and styled his hair in a way that looked like he'd just rolled out of bed. He let his eyes flow over her again as he got within normal speaking range. "Rachel," he said with a smile. "You look amazing."

She smiled, shoving her nervousness under a veneer of confidence. She could so this, it was just a date.

With a really hot guy - wow, did he clean up well. She let out a low whistle. "Look who's talking there, mister. Not too shabby, not too shabby at all."

He ran a hand down the lapel of the jacket and smirked. "I try, ma'am." He smiled and offered her an arm.

"So, where's this awesome Greek place?"

She took the arm, and pointed toward what she generally referred to as north. "That way, just a couple of blocks."

As they began walking, she looked over at Brennan. "Although I do have to say, you wore Gambit's uniform pretty well, too, the other day."
