Pyramid Head Attack Force (Remember the order!) steeldame April 8 2007, 21:18:40 UTC
The trail of blood led them to this spot, silent steps hidden between the numerous trees and bushes. Integral halted her group, being just in front of them all. They would attack first, before the rescuers performed their duty to get the victims. The monsters needed to be lead away first. She nodded at Seras to shift her limb into a wing to set her flight as soon it was possible and then turned to Alucard next.

It was their fair vengeance. Many had died, suffered, bled for their justice. It was time for them to fear for their welfares, to teach them they did not rule the City and would be consequences at their selfish actions ( ... )

Silent as a shadow, the smallish vampire moved effortlessly through the place, seeming to melt from darkness to darkness. With a sigh, he tilted his head and appeared next to Integral.

"Tell me when... my future Master."

"Go. Carry on your task," Integral dismissed him while she focused on the battle that was to begin.

Shadows coalesced, bats swarming around Pyramid Head as he leaned against his great knife. One by one the bats formed a shape, the grinning, fanged maw of the beast, red eyes glowing.

The glint of light revealed the Jackal, drawn inch by copius inch from the interior of a red duster. Crossing it over one arm, the vampire snarled and pulled the trigger, blessed silver bullet aimed for the knife as bats and darkness began to cover the area in blackness.

Aizen had perched near the battle scene, making sure to mask his presence carefully. After all, he didn't want to cause a distraction in the middle of such a grand event. The Red God had been an annoyance to him just for it's existence. One who is a god should be willing to at least prove his mettle, after all. Now he would be forced to fight.

"Well now, isn't this interesting...?"

It was time to see if "gods" were truly immortal.

Patience.

The mantra was something that she'd used before, and usually when dealing with a certain man she knew, but this time she was using it to give her something to focus on. As tired as she was, going to sleep wasn't an option right now. The way she felt, like half her soul was gone, didn't bode well for waking up.

With her eyes closed, her ears were the only link she had to what was happening around her, so she tried to pay as much attention to what she was hearing as she could.

It was hard, though.

The wounds she had, while mostly minor, bled profusely, as if the loss of power had allowed them to reopen.

First of all, there was pain.

Second, there was guilt.

And thirdly, there was weakness.

He remembered being awake, barely, seeing through one eye. Bleeding. Warm. Feverish. He remembered those but it was different now. Still, there was the pain, but it was not so potent. It allowed him to think and he hated it.

Would anyone come?

His chest seemed to be burning, as well as his head and his eye- was it still there? Weakly and with shaking hands, he touched where the creature had pressed his thumb into and could only cry silently at the softness beyond his closed eyelids. And the caked blood.

Gone.

Would he die...?
