It was their fair vengeance. Many had died, suffered, bled for their justice. It was time for them to fear for their welfares, to teach them they did not rule the City and would be consequences at their selfish actions ( ... )

The glint of light revealed the Jackal, drawn inch by copius inch from the interior of a red duster. Crossing it over one arm, the vampire snarled and pulled the trigger, blessed silver bullet aimed for the knife as bats and darkness began to cover the area in blackness.

Still weakened from the draw on his limited spirit, the Red Guard brought his blade up with the intent of taking a swipe at his airborne attacker...
....A miscalculation as the explosion of a gun report broke the silence of the clearing, followed by an almighty CRACK!
In his effort to rend open the unknown opponent, the Great Blade was shattered by the Casull.
For one stunned moment, The Red Pyramid regarded the ragged hilt of his faithful weapon...
...and hen the metal helmet swiveled toward Alucard, and a thunderous, part mechanical, part organic roar blasted the night.

Only humans can defeat monsters...
Her great sword swung into the air, with a fast and strong strike ready to meet the flesh just below the right shoulder. The same hand that held the knife would receive its fitful punishment.

DS rose into the air, as it was much easier to attack that way rather than running, and flew straight for Pyramid Head. "Time to meet your maker, Triangle boy!"
"Sukiss... suratt... shumega... Megadess!" He slowly rose his arm up, the energy collecting rapidly as he chanted the spell.
"The Endless Fiery Hell of Sodom!" In a quick swift motion, he swung his arm back down, slashing at the air and sending the energy blade straight for Pyramid Head's left arm.

Tactics, of course, dictate that heavy artillery make the first move, and Zoe had to admit; she was impressed.
Not that she would ever put much stock into things like magic, or vampires, but the....well...thing that fought with Hellsing had a damn fine hand cannon.
Hellsing herself was no slouch, and as Zoe took aim with her rifle at the monster who had hurt her husband, she raised a brow at the weird sort of shouting the white haired guy made.
...Shouting seemed effective, however, so who was to complain?
They had it cornered, and it was finally her turn.
" Fire!"
And the rifle shot true...she blew off the sonovabitch's balls.

Turned out that torture was a fine incentive to get Jayne to shoot a monster on behalf of his crewmates. "Now's the time t' make me proud, darlin'," he muttered to Vera as he took aim.
Mouth set in a grim line, Jayne squeezed the trigger of his very favorite gun.

Mal wasn’t keen on violence; he resorted to it when he had to, but didn’t really find it enjoyable. But now, he’d surely make a big fat liar out of himself if he claimed he didn’t find this show to his immense liking. Mal had absolutely no pity for any hwoon dahn involved in snatching Inara and Wash. Much as he felt for the others kidnapped, his primary concern was for those of his crew, those he was bound to by duty and loyalty ( ... )

River could hear them all as they fought, every one of them, each thought of hate and revenge. Even the creature had its whispers, and she paused for the first time to listen to them - darkness, judgement, execution, and clicks and whirrs that told her it was not immune to pain. But at its heart it was a puppet, a tool, an object tweaked to judge and never be judged. It was only a puppet, and she was a weapon. All that mattered was that though it was stronger, she was faster ( ... )

He watched untill the moment was right; in group fights he was more than happy to leave the worst work to others. There was a heavy price for winning, after all.
Though, with both of the creature's legs gone, the moment was ripe.
A second of aim, another of concentration, and he struck. A swift flash of his arm- the untrained eye would not have even seen that- and his katana slipped into the flesh of the Triangle Creature's back.
Another flash- a blur of his blade- and its spine was no longer connected.

The group that was chosen was most satisfactory in Integral's opinion.
"Everyone reach for the helmet. We won't let this creature recover! At the same time!" she shout, circling the creature's right side. "Now!" The knight pulled the helmet, trying to tear it out.

He wanted the creature to hurt, to howl in pain. He was insidious in his grip, a steady and strong pressure instead of a quick and easy motion.
