Bump in, excitement and frustration.

Ohmygod, it's starting to feel like an actual production around here. Bump in was today- we moved all the sets, props and costumes from school to the Odeon. It was my first Wildy-Odeon bump in, but from what I've heard as far as bump ins go it was a damn good one. Usually they last forever and are excruciating and boring, but for some reason this time we got everything done real quick and easy, and left about an hour earlier than usual. So the theatre's all set up now, ready for us to do our tech runs and dress rehearsals before opening night. Everyone's getting the sense of 'we're actually going to put this thing on' now, and frankly I'm very excited.

Once The Secret Garden is over, I'll probably have very mixed feelings. I think it's unavoidable that I'll get that post-production longing and nostalgia for it. The bonding, the socialising, being part of a cast and of course, getting to perform. All the funny moments and quirks of theatre life...we'll miss it all, that's for sure. It'd be good to have FREE TIME again, and actually get to, you know, go home after school; but I'm going to be bored and lonely without my wonderful cast.

Honestly, I love you guys. I'm going to miss the cast of The Secret Garden so much. It's only been during the past month or so that we've actually started to feel like part of a team- the lines between the grades are seemingly getting thinner, in many cases vanishing altogether. The Dreamers, chorus girls and main characters have all been getting along really well lately- for the most part of course. Jayho being an obvious exception. My life would be so boring and dull without the awesome times we have in rehearsal Yeah, I'm going to miss it.

the secret garden, good times
