Anectodes from the weekend
Friday was spent in a number of ways - first, work. Nothing special happened. Continued on to Azrieli to buy a gift for Ben's brit-party. In the middle of my strut my mom called and asked if I can get some thing for Udi from "Ricochet". I wasn't very thrilled to go and buy these things (these things tend to be heavy and bulky, and I was already with some things in my hands and I was in a hurry), so she yelled at me and hung up on my. I continued on to buying what she wanted non-the-less, and fortunately it wasn't much.
Went back to my car and drove to "Gan Oranim", where the brit was. Spent about two hours there and then left.
Two episodes of "House MD" were waiting for me at home, and I happily watched them, only to discover that the next two will not be fully downloaded because the torrent has been deleted from the net. D'Arvit. Found some more resources for these two, and hopefully I'll have them later this week. During the second episode Helena called and said that she and Danny (her boyfriend) were in Holon and if I wanted to meet them. I picked them up and we went to have dinner at the "Black" in Cinema-City. It's a hamburger joint, and needless to say, I got a swell vegi-burger with chimichuri. Yum.
On Saturday morning Tal (my cousin from America who is staying here for a few months) called and said she wanted to come see us. It was very unconveniant since we were to go to my grandparents for lunch and my grandma cooks only as the number of people coming, and she has been unwell for a long time so my mom was reluctant to ask her. In the end my brother turned out not to come (he went to a birthday party) so she came with us and there was little trouble.
Spent some time painting this weekend, but I need a new fine-brush since the cats have borrowed what I had and of course, they don't put it back in it's place.
