Well, my first trip to Warped was amazing. :) Will definitely be going every year from now on.
First, I probably bought 3 CDs before I even went in the arena. The guys that were promoting their bands were sexy. I got The Fully Down, Trendy, The Sunstreak, and Echo Screen. They were all really good bands so I'm glad that I got them. Aaron from Trendy was really gorgeous and he knew the hick town that I live in so that made him hip.
The performances were nothing short of amazing. Bullet For My Valentine was great even though the people beside us started smoking weed as soon as the first song started. WiL from Aiden was just sitting on the stage, chilling and singing along and he was gorgeous too. Sad I missed him performing.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was amazing. They did really good and Ronnie was so good looking.
The Academy Is was probably the best one to me. William Beckett is God in more ways than one. He definitely didn't disappoint. He was even more gorgeous in person and sung beautifully. He's adorable as a guy too. He helped load up the equipment and he was cute. haha I'll shut up now.
Senses Fail wasn't that great. Me and Jennifer sat down while that happened because we were waiting for Motion City.
30 Seconds to Mars was really disappointing. My mom wanted to go to see them so we did and I swear, I couldn't count how many times Jared Leto said "fuck".
Emanuel was good. He could have screamed a little softer because I could hardly understand him. But, good none the less.
Saw "Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn" by Hellogoodbye. Not a fan but was there before The Academy Is. Kicked ass when people came out dressed as fuckin' bananas though. haha
I caught Ryan from Greely Estates and he took 2 pictures with me after signing a poster. Then after the really really good performance, he took ANOTHER picture with me and I got the CD. I swear, he was beautiful.
Saw the guy from Cartel (Will, I think) and he walked past me. I wanted to pay him a nickel to say "UH-GIN!" But I didn't.
The acoustic performance by Gym Class Heroes was really good. Their rendition of "Under The Bridge" was really good and Travis is the greatest guy I've met. He was hilarious trying to make their sign "prettier". Got a picture with him INSISTING that I smile so I look really bad. He's still adorable.
Motion City Soundtrack was the last performance and the MOST intense. Meeting the guys was great and they were adorable. I bought the CD for them to sign and got the front of the line. Pissed me off really bad when a guy JUMPED on the table to get signed but made me smile when Justin wrote "FART" on his chest with a big arrow. Jesse was nothing short of HOT. The performance was the most insane one. Or more like the crowd was the most insane. Moshing and crowdsurfing. Enjoyed every minute of me being dropped on and kicked in the face because they kicked ass. Just..who would have thought that a band with a keyboard had the most intense crowd?
I missed my picture with William because he walked right by me because he didn't hear me. I cried, yeah. I missed Aiden and Armor For Sleep. I think that's the only things that were bad. I'll get them next year. :) Right now, every part of my body hurts. I'm sunburnt because I was too busy to put sunscreen on. So yeah, I think I might shower after this because I'm DISGUSTING and then I'll sleep for the rest of my life.
THINGS I BOUGHT:
Motion City Soundtrack "Commit This To Memory"
Greely Estates "Far From The Lies"
Cute Is What We Aim For "Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch"
Echo Screen "An American Tale"
The Fully Down "Don't Get Lost In A Movement"
The Sunstreak's Self Titled Album
Trendy "Stupid Generation"
Aiden T-shirt
The Academy Is T-shirt
Gotta listen to the CDs I got and then forbidding myself from punk music for a LONG time.
