Quick wedding update:
Ceremony *and* reception venue: Rochester Community House
Outdoor wedding ceremony
Why we chose it: Beautiful setting, easy for our various fam to get to, only wedding party of the night, reception & ceremony at same location, we pick our caterer, we buy/choose our own alcohol, awesome deck, we can personalize everything!

Why we chose them: We didn't even look at anybody else. Their website speaks volumes about their *awesome* work. They were super cool in person. They have an awesome office in Ferndale and a studio in the D. Photojournalistic, transparent style. Can't wait to work with them. We're getting an engagement shoot too.
Caterer: Undecided
We tried Vicky's Delights in Oxford and really liked them...this weekend we're trying Victorian Rose tea room...they have good reviews too. Awesome menus. Both know the venue well and can personalize things just how we want.
*sidenote: We tried hard to get Pronto...but their catering service sucks! Still like the restaurant, but we talked to them multiple times, submitted a menu to them, and they never even got us a quote. Everybody else was 10x more responsive.
In other news: I can't wait for the weekend!!!!!
