You're just that good a writer :D
I've never really liked James, even though everybody says how much he and Harry are alike, I've always thought james was arrogant and not very kind, and you've represented him exactly the way I see him.

Oh my gooooosh thank you so much! I'm just... dancing the Dance of Joy over here, I'm so psyched you can feel for them here even though you don't like them in general. WHY SO KIND BB, WHY SO KIND.

And James - I think he very likely grew up to be a good, nice man, but yeah, I don't think there's any arguing with the fact that he was a bully, arrogant, and unkind as a teenager. I mean, I'm sure he was nice to the people he chose to be nice to, and I think that's why everyone in the books was like "oh you're just like him" to Harry, because that's the side of him they saw. But to people he could get away with bullying, well, he did. And I imagine that being his friend was probably a hellish proposition for someone with no charisma of his own like Peter.

And this completes my backtracking through your entire gallery, and must I say, everything you've written on this journal struck a chord and made me nod my head like "Oh, yeah, wow, I hadn't thought of that". Because wow, I hadn't thought of any of this. Especially not this specific story. I never would've thought to wander into Pettigrew's head, but you really made it interesting.

Anyway, long story short, you're awesome and amazing and I will remain ever faithful to your stories, because they're the most accurately characterized and well-written stories I've read in a long time.
