The Bubblehead Nurse costume is complete!
mr_sharkey took some awesome photos of me in my costume last night.
I went to hang out with 50_ft_queenie, mr_sharkey, and a handful of non-LJ friends. After hanging out, most of us headed onward to a bar/club for some Halloween showing-off. I stayed in character the entire time we were at the club (silent, posed in awkward and unnatural positions, or doing the bubblehead walk across the club), and I know I creeped a good number of people out. I continued to creep people out while on the way home, which was fun. I got a lot of compliments and overheard a lot of people talking about it (which is how I know I creeped people out, heh). I got recognized properly (specifically as a Silent Hill nurse) a lot more than I thought I would, which was also pretty cool.
All in all, I would say definitely successful! I'll have to dress up in the costume again sometime in the next few days, since my cousin is demanding that I produce video of me doing the bubblehead walk, and I want to get some full-body shots. I'm delighted with how it turned out, and the reaction I got. People were even taking photos from their cars as I waited at the bus stop.
