Improbable Island
It's time to admit it: I've gotten hooked on a text-based game. It's called Improbable Island and it's ridiculously fun and, well, just ridiculous. As just one example of gameplay, I now have a mount (that I can ride on, to get to other areas) - while it's called a Budget Horse, it's actually a liver-spotted, wrinkly old man that is trying to pay off his debt to the Chop Shop owner. When I go into combat (with my trusty Meat Fork, wearing my Cotton Pyjamas, Pink Cotton Socks, and Sieve with Bungees on my head), I use the old dude as a Meat Shield to deflect attacks. And the monsters in this game are absolutely absurd.
Anyway... y'all should come play. :) It's free, and since it's text-based, pretty much any browser should be able to run it. If you're literate and nerdy you'll especially appreciate it, but anyone should be able to find something to love in this game.
