By older I mean it's almost a year old which, in a 4 years old fandom, is indeed already quite a bit. This fic is the one you see in almost every rec list but I never actually read it. And then I stumbled into the KMM version of it, started to read it, adored, and saw a repost link, cause it's much easier to read this way. And then I was "oh, it's this one!" and felt stupid for never reading it before. It's a Merlin/Arthur Modern AU, and it's the last rec for now. Maybe more later ^^ (Sorry for the Canon Era lovers, I have some in my pocket, promise!)

I love this fic with a passion (I read it for the first time a few days ago and re-read it twice since then) and yet I find myself at loss for words to explain why you should absolutely read it (except for the fact that you must). This story is a bit of a dream and a nightmare all put together to happen in the real world. It's about love and death and blood and the world.
