Rejoice!
Today it's official! I am completely free of her now :-)
Thanks to all those who have given me the patience and understanding, who've been good friends and listened to my side of things, who haven't judged me purely on her say-so, and who have stood by me. It hasn't been easy, and it will take years to undo a lot of what she did to me, but this is a watershed.
To those who have listened only to her, I feel sorry. She is a master of twisted half-truths and manipulation and I of all people know how good she is at controlling others. Of course you won't want to know the truth (I'm talking objective facts of events, not 'my side') because it's hard to admit you've been suckered, but I have 6 years' worth of evidence, including emails, handwritten letters of confession from her, independent witnesses to events, and so on. They show her for what she is, and anyone is welcome to see them. I really don't care if people don't like me once they know the whole story, but I do rather detest those who only listen to one side and judge from that.
And finally, words cannot express my love for metzkass, who has put up with more from me than anyone should have, who's given me unstinting support, the courage to stand my ground, love and dignity, and who has stood by me through the worst of times without hesitation. She is, literally, the only reason I'm still here, and she makes it wonderful. Alati, minu armas.
