(no subject)
Well, it's like day 2-3 of leave, and I'm having a pretty good time. I was a little sceptical of how well my mom and dad would be doing since they got back together, but they actually seem pretty happy, or rather, 'serene'. No more of the bullshit arguments, and my brother is finally getting some stability with his wife coming here to the states.
There was a long while last year where I didn't think things would ever improve, and after enduring the mental hardships of basic, things just felt worse, but I guess sometimes you have to suffer before you can be happy. I did my fair share of suffering this past year, be it from stress or family issues, but now things are alright.
I guess that's how karma works. Like if you're someone who goes on day by day enduring with some seriously stressful shit, and keep pushing on without collapsing, you'll end up seeing some good times at the very end. Or if you're somebody who causes pain, or does things that are selfish, you eventually get the same in the end. I've got a rough year ahead of me, but I'm not too concerned as long as I know things back here are in order with or without me.
Took some new pics back here, I'm gonna try and upload the rest which are of my cousins tomorrow.
