Steve War 1 Battle 3 - Intermission
Due to some confusion during this Steve War, we had to call a break to figure out some things. I will document the discussion as this discussion later lead to some rule changes in these wars.

Basically what's going on here is: Talconfire attempted to rescue England and America from the clutches of Steve. It failed and she got captured. I, given my experience being possessed by him, decided to invite him to possess me again, then I'd break out and free my friends. However, my attempts to use the same methods I did last time did not work. Now, Steve has done something and I can no longer speak. And he keeps getting into taunting matches with Talcon.))

Well... from what I know, I was injured in trying to rush in and save England who was mind controlled. Emma rushed in after me and got possessed by Steve. We've been sort of doing a whole banter deal so I'm not sure if more has happened since then.
Also France was recently saved.
And currently, Vriska, America, Canada, Russia and England are still under Steve's control.

Okay...so far I get is this so I'm posting it here so everyone can see what we've got so far...
-Another SW is happening after the one 30minutes or so ago.
-talonfire was injured after failing to save England (and America). Also in a taunting war with Steve.
-hypermmalawlz is possesed again (Emma, is she?).
-France is saved (check)
-some people (including me) do not get how much gifs we can post up and it might be letting people down that they're annoying others.
-America, Canada, Vriska and Russia is possesed and taken as hostage
-But I also remember shoting a giant gun blast at Steve when he tried to eat Canada though, so does that count as unresolved or something?

Well it seems Steve is mostly indestructible aside from the power of love, friendship and magic. So I suppose the gun blast would have hit Steve but he'd not be hurt.
Admittedly, France was only saved because I rushed in while Steve was distracted. If anyone was wondering how that happened.

Does that mean my magical gun powers work? :D ...Wait, that's not really fair, is it? I mean the nations could fight Steve with their swords and weapons...unless they had the whole Higurashi fighting against fate strength with them and that's what we need!

No. Steve said France died by seeing Germany's porn collection. Since nations can't die, I pretty much assumed that mean France fainted or something. Since Steve thought France died, he just didn't bother to stop me.

I just recently leveled up from lvl.4 berserker explosion table flip mode to lvl.5 vid spam and basic table flip. So, no more exploding gifs. And sorry for the excess of it m(_ _)m

Well, there was points I think I went overboard. Somehow made some kind of motivational explosion spam (It was a seme too, on top of that.) and it went on that point I had several pages of BOOMS (because I would then faint for a few pages afterward). I think it was either the previous page or the page before that I made it past lvl.4 (from fainting, I would devolve to lvl.3) and to lvl.5 and going back to standard table flips emotes and vid spam.

The girl raises an eyebrow in reaction to General TalonIceFire's words.
"Ma'am... my commanding officer... No..." she whispers. "This is... this is horrific."
Slowly, she takes off the dressing gown, dropping it onto the floor in a violet heap to reveal a war worn, yet somehow brand new, military uniform, adorned with rows and rows of gold and silver medals and badges. One particular badge, in the shape of what seems to be a flower (rose to be exact) shines brighter then the rest.
"That's it Steve." she smiles, a kind, yet unsettling smile.
"This... this is war."

Then there was a mecha of Iceland. Then... Possessed!England informed us that France was dead...

She clenches her fist, removing something from her uniform. Her knuckles pale as she clutches it tightly, digging the item into her hand almost painfully.
"Oh god..." slowly, the General turns from her spot at the window. Her face is a mask, blank and unreadable,but there is a terrifying glint in her eyes.
"Troops..."-again, that creepy, almost psychotic smile appears- "We must rise up. Stay strong under this duress. The times are hard. Morale is low... We must not break!"
The sound of her voice echoes across the room as the gathered troops return to their own positions.
No one hears the tiny sob as she mourns the fallen nation of France while clutching the softly glimmering rose shaped medal.
BUT LUCKILY TALON HAD STORMED IN WHILE I WAS SOBBING AND SAVED FRANCE.

"YOUR GENERAL OF THE ARMY HAS JUST RECOVERED AND RECLOTHED FRANCE.
HE IS NOW IN THE INFIRMARY RECOVERING.
DON'T WORRY, I'M COMPLETELY FINE.
IT'S JUST A LITTLE BLOOD.
IT'LL HEAL.
THOUGH I MAY NEED TIME TO RECOVER FROM RECLOTHING FRANCE.
WHO KNEW HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS PUTTING PANTS ON SOMEONE WITH A... LARGE ROSE?" Calls the General of the Army.
For a moment - a mere millisecond- the mask slips. Relief seems to flood the Generals system, washing through her veins with it's warmth.
But what seems like ice water follows once the General brings the unstable mask back up. There were still so many... so many out there in danger of Steve. They had to keep fighting...
The war wasn't over because they had saved one person.
A TERRIBLE REALISATION:
A soldier rushes into the two generals' quarters.
"'"From (now on) I plan to take a ruthless attack and do my best"'
...HE'S FIGHTING STEVE OMG
HIMAPAPA IS FIGHTING AGAINST STEVE
...or... HE IS STEVE ;A;" cries hanhula.
The revelations is shocking... terrifying almost.
The General turns to look at the face of her commanding officer, but the other has gone to speak more with hanhula.
It couldn't... it couldn't be true...
Could it?
She doesn't want to believe but the seed of doubt has been planted. From then it would grow in her mind, always there, always the thought.
What if the one they loved the most, the one they would wait for forever, the whole reason they had all banded together in the first place... was also the one who was trying to destroy them?
TALON'S SACRIFICE:
"IF MY THEORY IS CORRECT, FRANCE WAS OUT COLD BECAUSE OF HIS FIGHT WITH ENGLAND.
IF THIS IS TRUE, THEN ENGLAND MUST BE WEAKENED FROM THEIR FIGHTING.
I WILL GO IN NOW AND RETRIEVE HIM WHILE I CAN."
The commanding officer of the Army says this in utter seriousness, her own benedictions strong.
"By yourself ma'am? Surely not!"
"TINA, I AM TRUSTING YOU TO KEEP CONTROL OF THE TROOPS WHILE I AM GONE."
She watches as the General of the Army rushes bravely behind enemy lines, towards the horrific monsters and terrified hostages. The finality of those words scare her.. but Talon is brave and strong.
"I... I'll try." she speaks softly, only to the rushing wind and dark grey skies.
Her face freezes and the mask of confidence becomes easier, if more soul-crushing to pull off.
Silently, she prays that the other general will return soon.

The General watches as the troops seem to fall into disarray.
The rumour mill works fast when everyone is packed together so tightly.
The word goes out that the enemy has taken another one of their own... but who?
She realizes that she has not been seen by the troops for almost 15 minutes. She starts to wonder... is it... could the one possessed by the enemy be-
"RETRIEVAL MISSION IS A FAILURE.
EVERYONE, GET THE HELL BACK TO THE BASE.
YOU NEED TO REGROUP. LEAVE ME."
Oh god... it's the voice of General Talon.
She looks out the window and sees a large crowd returning to base. She can just barely see Talon, so close to being mobbed.
No...no...no...no..no...
Ina frenzied rush, she runs out the door, yelling orders left and right.
"Don;t leave her... DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE HER!" she shouts, pushing through the now frenzied mob of soldiers. The crowd seems to part for her though, as she reaches the fallen army commander...
"I COULDN'T... COULDN'T GET ENGLAND OUT FAST ENOUGH.
AND AMERICA...
OH GOD.
STEVE HAS GOTTEN HIM TOO."
"General Talon... It.. it's not your fault." She tries hard to be strong, not let her voice shake at seeing the brave officer like that. "It's not any of our fault."
"It... it hurts so much. My arm..." General talon's loud, strong voice is amurmur now. Holding off emotions, the General calls for assistance. A medical team whips General Talon away as an officer calls for her.
"General Tina! There's been a crisis! The enemy... they're taking us all!"
She looks around. The battlefield is in ruins and the soldiers are stressed.
Chaos, complete chaos.
She sees that hanhula... Emma... they've both been taken. Major General Labc and Lieutenant General Ven are in the midst of continuing their desperate attacks, but in her heart... she knows that they are losing.
Losing.... No... No!
This is her fault... if only she had been a better leader...
She falls to her knees, sinking into the trodden mud in the spot where General Talon had collapsed.
She has to be strong... but somehow it just keeps getting harder.
BRINGING BACK THE MOTIVATION:
NO! NO! She will not let herself be beaten down by this! SHE IS THE GENERAL AND THIS IS WAR
"WAKE FANDOMLY!!!!!! WE WILL WIN!!!!!!!! WE WILL PERSEVERE!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE THE AWESOME HETALIA FANDOMLY!!!!!!!!!" Labc's battle cry fills her mind with a new confidence... a shaky, unstable confidence, but it's there none the less.
Slowly, she pulls herself up, dusting the mud from her uniform, pinning all her medals up straight.
Fixing her hair, the General smiles.
"You won't bring me down Steve... You can never make me fall..."

HOW STEVE GOT HIS POSSESSION POWERS:
With the war going so... so... badly... she realised it was time for her to speak up.
Back when Steve had been nothing but a game... nothing but an identity to put on and discard as one saw fit, she had taken up the mantle.
She had not kept it for long... but her short time had been impactful. Shortly afterwards, Steve... the real Steve, had gained the ability to possess and control the minds of their army.
Just how had he gained that power?
It was her fault. In her game, in her fun, she had given it to him.

Also we need to discuss the extent of Steve's immunities, because apparently some people are starting to get annoyed with how difficult he's become to fight.

It's normally a bunch of anons (because there being one Steve would be too much of a demand for them to reply to every person here). However there's currently only one anon Steve left.

It's a few people, most of whom are anon - except me, being possessed, which kind of springs from something that happened in the first war (accidental deanon, and then "eh, fuck it, let's work it into the plot.)

Yeah, since when was Steve was immune to all human attacks and is only hurt by magic, friendship, faith, trust? No offense to all, but I thought Steve was weak in the forehead and human weapons like guns, swords, pipes/sword cane, human fists, axes and magic can harm him. And I don't most of us swing by the whole magical friendship thing too well (unless it's something like Higurashi where they combined their powers to defeat the endless cycle...AND THAT'S WHAT HETAONI WAS ABOUT! All the anons that played him kept not being affected by any attack.
Although probably because when the war started, most of the people who were in it hadn't seen HetaOni.

Because it's not really fair when people who doesn't know HetaOni can just make all the Steves tough while the ones who knows them well enough (*points to myself* one of the HetaOni fanfic writer) sees that all thier original attacks from HetaOni seems useless, THEN the ones who don't know it still uses only simple things like friendship and such. Steves can revive or can come in great numbers, we don't even know how many anons are there so they can play. Hey, they can control one who army until we defeat the leader of that army and the one playing as the anon goes back to playing on our side.

Okay so, with the whole deal of people getting annoyed with how godmode Steve is, let's now try to reasonably fix up his abilities and limitations.
So post here exactly the traits about Steve you'd like to fight against (combat wise, not personality wise) and then we'll discuss on what's the most reasonable limitations and abilities to give him.
Just remember... we need Steve to survive more than a page worth's of explosive attacks from the fans. So try not to push for a "vulnerable as a regular person".

And perhaps he would do frequent attacks on us, and for the "eating" thing, well, he can threaten us to do that, but no eating. It's just a bit.. Disturbing imo.

Steves weakness is in the forehead, yes, BUT there ARE an army of them, and he is not stupid. Just because he is a monster doesn't make him have no brain. Everyone can attack as much as they want and even they lost all thier arms and legs, he can still move. Think of them as an army of big, smart zombies.
Be creative as well, make him survive but as long as their foreheads don't get hurt, they're still alive, even if blinded, muted, death, imobile, whatever! And there are other types of Steves. Look up part 13 of HetaOni, and the ending parts of Ao Oni to get some ideas on what your Steve army looks like. Bird!Steves, coackarooch!Steves, Toger!Steve, Domokun!Steve! See what I mean? I hope it helps~

So you need to have been kidnapped before you can be first possessed by Steve (and those of you who do decide to be possessed, please try to do this decently, thanks~). The power of Friendship or Love may help to get the person to fight the possession. However doing it to the Steves themselves will not damage them.
Due to votes, the eating people thing is still on (there were more people okay with it than not). However, can we have the Steves be mindful that some people do get squicked by it, so don't nom on anyone unless you're SURE they're okay with it.

Well, there was points I think I went overboard. Somehow made some kind of motivational explosion spam (It was a seme too, on top of that.) and it went on that point I had several pages of BOOMS (because I would then faint for a few pages afterward). I think it was either the previous page or the page before that I made it past lvl.4 (from fainting, I would devolve to lvl.3) and to lvl.5 and going back to standard table flips emotes and vid spam.

No one hears the tiny sob as she mourns the fallen nation of France while clutching the softly glimmering rose shaped medal.

For a moment - a mere millisecond- the mask slips. Relief seems to flood the Generals system, washing through her veins with it's warmth.
But what seems like ice water follows once the General brings the unstable mask back up. There were still so many... so many out there in danger of Steve. They had to keep fighting...
The war wasn't over because they had saved one person.
A TERRIBLE REALISATION:
A soldier rushes into the two generals' quarters.
"'"From (now on) I plan to take a ruthless attack and do my best"'

The revelations is shocking... terrifying almost.
The General turns to look at the face of her commanding officer, but the other has gone to speak more with hanhula.

She doesn't want to believe but the seed of doubt has been planted. From then it would grow in her mind, always there, always the thought.
What if the one they loved the most, the one they would wait for forever, the whole reason they had all banded together in the first place... was also the one who was trying to destroy them?
TALON'S SACRIFICE:
"IF MY THEORY IS CORRECT, FRANCE WAS OUT COLD BECAUSE OF HIS FIGHT WITH ENGLAND.
IF THIS IS TRUE, THEN ENGLAND MUST BE WEAKENED FROM THEIR FIGHTING.
I WILL GO IN NOW AND RETRIEVE HIM WHILE I CAN."
The commanding officer of the Army says this in utter seriousness, her own benedictions strong.
"By yourself ma'am? Surely not!"
"TINA, I AM TRUSTING YOU TO KEEP CONTROL OF THE TROOPS WHILE I AM GONE."
She watches as the General of the Army rushes bravely behind enemy lines, towards the horrific monsters and terrified hostages. The finality of those words scare her.. but Talon is brave and strong.
"I... I'll try." she speaks softly, only to the rushing wind and dark grey skies.
Her face freezes and the mask of confidence becomes easier, if more soul-crushing to pull off.
Silently, she prays that the other general will return soon.

She realizes that she has not been seen by the troops for almost 15 minutes. She starts to wonder... is it... could the one possessed by the enemy be-
"RETRIEVAL MISSION IS A FAILURE.
EVERYONE, GET THE HELL BACK TO THE BASE.
YOU NEED TO REGROUP. LEAVE ME."
Oh god... it's the voice of General Talon.
She looks out the window and sees a large crowd returning to base. She can just barely see Talon, so close to being mobbed.
No...no...no...no..no...
Ina frenzied rush, she runs out the door, yelling orders left and right.
"Don;t leave her... DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE HER!" she shouts, pushing through the now frenzied mob of soldiers. The crowd seems to part for her though, as she reaches the fallen army commander...
"I COULDN'T... COULDN'T GET ENGLAND OUT FAST ENOUGH.
AND AMERICA...
OH GOD.
STEVE HAS GOTTEN HIM TOO."
"General Talon... It.. it's not your fault." She tries hard to be strong, not let her voice shake at seeing the brave officer like that. "It's not any of our fault."
"It... it hurts so much. My arm..." General talon's loud, strong voice is amurmur now. Holding off emotions, the General calls for assistance. A medical team whips General Talon away as an officer calls for her.
"General Tina! There's been a crisis! The enemy... they're taking us all!"
She looks around. The battlefield is in ruins and the soldiers are stressed.
Chaos, complete chaos.
She sees that hanhula... Emma... they've both been taken. Major General Labc and Lieutenant General Ven are in the midst of continuing their desperate attacks, but in her heart... she knows that they are losing.
Losing.... No... No!
This is her fault... if only she had been a better leader...
She falls to her knees, sinking into the trodden mud in the spot where General Talon had collapsed.
She has to be strong... but somehow it just keeps getting harder.
BRINGING BACK THE MOTIVATION:

With the war going so... so... badly... she realised it was time for her to speak up.
Back when Steve had been nothing but a game... nothing but an identity to put on and discard as one saw fit, she had taken up the mantle.
She had not kept it for long... but her short time had been impactful. Shortly afterwards, Steve... the real Steve, had gained the ability to possess and control the minds of their army.

Steves can revive or can come in great numbers, we don't even know how many anons are there so they can play. The general watches out the window of her quarters. The night is dark and the moon is out, basking the bettered battlefield in a soft, almost non existent silver glow.
The army is so at peace. A temporary truce has been called (who knew monster's could have reason?) but the war is not over.
Reinforcements had arrived earlier, but it still seemed a little uneven. In the morning, they would discuss strategy.
But for now, she was tired, and needed to rest.
After all, it's hard to play mind games when your mind won't respond.

Okay so, with the whole deal of people getting annoyed with how godmode Steve is, let's now try to reasonably fix up his abilities and limitations.
So post here exactly the traits about Steve you'd like to fight against (combat wise, not personality wise) and then we'll discuss on what's the most reasonable limitations and abilities to give him.
Just remember... we need Steve to survive more than a page worth's of explosive attacks from the fans. So try not to push for a "vulnerable as a regular person".

Things are getting confusing enough to figure out a Steve with limitations to stop getting people annoyed with the godmodding.

Normally Steve would only "Capture" some of the people and keep them in a "Prison".
And perhaps he would do frequent attacks on us, and for the "eating" thing, well, he can threaten us to do that, but no eating. It's just a bit.. Disturbing imo.

Steves weakness is in the forehead, yes, BUT there ARE an army of them, and he is not stupid. Just because he is a monster doesn't make him have no brain. Everyone can attack as much as they want and even they lost all thier arms and legs, he can still move. Think of them as an army of big, smart zombies.
Be creative as well, make him survive but as long as their foreheads don't get hurt, they're still alive, even if blinded, muted, death, imobile, whatever! And there are other types of Steves. Look up part 13 of HetaOni, and the ending parts of Ao Oni to get some ideas on what your Steve army looks like. Bird!Steves, coackarooch!Steves, Toger!Steve, Domokun!Steve! See what I mean? I hope it helps~

Objects of former importance like the Fandom Cannon are stored away, forgotten like many of those who fought and never made it back. Never would anyone have thought that it would need to be taken out again..nobody would have thought the titles bestowed upon the people, influential ones such as general and lieutenant, would ever need to be uttered again. These names, in a civilian's mind, were only spoken of in legends long forgotten. Nobody expected them to be uttered again, no. Neither did they expect distasteful words like Steve to ever be mentioned again..but alas.
Somewhere in this galaxy....somewhere....the menace so feared by those it invades sleeps...preparing for the next wave...preparing for what may very well be it's final wave...

So we'll go with the HetaOni canon - forehead is his weakness. He can be hit anywhere else on the body, but if it's not the forehead, he can't be stopped. But not weaksauce attacks at it, like flicking his forehead. He needs a good stab with a knife, bullet shot, or stupefy to the head.
Much like with anons, there's more than one Steve. They just all happen to look alike (unless anyone wants to invoke the Steve!birds and such). We just can't tell them apart otherwise.
Cause they're smart aliens with advance tech, the Steves always have a way of communicating to each other even when we can't see it. So it justifies why a Steve may know so much about our fandom.
How is this so far? I do credit Kiki for giving me most of the ideas. Can we get some agreement that this is okay so far?

However we have other problems:
1. Steve eating humans. How many people actually mind this? And to what extent are you willing to let the "eating humans" thing go?
2. Possession. Should we keep it or get rid of it? Or would anyone mind to changing it so Steve is using alien tech to control minds (so you can only be affected once kidnapped)?
( I should point out this time we had Vriska, who can canonically control minds, on side with Steve so it's justified this war )

Just a few pages ago. We had Steve War 3 but we had to pause because the newcomers wanted to catch up on the events. Then we ran into problems of some HetaOni fans getting annoyed with the non-canon abilities and godmodding. I'm just trying to work things out to make Steve less of a Marty-Stu but still not so easy to defeat so we can be as cracky as we want.

So we'll go with the HetaOni canon - forehead is his weakness. He can be hit anywhere else on the body, but if it's not the forehead, he can't be stopped. But not weaksauce attacks at it, like flicking his forehead. He needs a good stab with a knife, bullet shot, or stupefy to the head.
Much like with anons, there's more than one Steve. They just all happen to look alike (unless anyone wants to invoke the Steve!birds and such). We just can't tell them apart otherwise.
Cause they're smart aliens with advance tech, the Steves always have a way of communicating to each other even when we can't see it. So it justifies why a Steve may know so much about our fandom.
As with possession, he does it with alien tech. So you need to have been kidnapped before you can be first possessed by Steve (and those of you who do decide to be possessed, please try to do this decently, thanks~). The power of Friendship or Love may help to get the person to fight the possession. However doing it to the Steves themselves will not damage them.
Due to votes, the eating people thing is still on (there were more people okay with it than not). However, can we have the Steves be mindful that some people do get squicked by it, so don't nom on anyone unless you're SURE they're okay with it.
I do credit Kiki for giving me most of the ideas.
