Hey all, I'm doing my second update within a week. You all know what that means: grab your helmets and freeze dried foods, because the world must be ending!
Lol, I am so sore right now. Last time I updated, I was sore from a cold working out of my system (thanks to sapharin for the helpful treatment info). This time, however, it's a satisfied soreness: I spent 2 hours working out in the campus gym today, all under the watchful eye of my friend Todd, a Sophomore I met in my Criminal Justice class. He was tough on me....it almost felt like I had a personal trainer/drill instructor....but honestly, if he hadn't been, I wouldn't have done nearly as much as I did. Todd had me work every single muscle in my arms, plus my shoulders, and finally my abs. Holy. Crap. I have never actually lifted weights and most of the equipment in the gym, I'd never seen. This is going to be interesting, to say the least.
Other then that, not much else going on. A couple papers done, but otherwise it's been slow school-wise. It seems like everyone around me has tests coming up....I'm wondering if mine are all gonna clump together ^_-
Oh, one last note. I now have an internship with the local police department. My first shift is this coming Tuesday from 5-10 p.m., and in order to get accepted I had to sign several pain waivers and a death waiver. It's entirely possible, while on my ride-alongs, that I could be injured and/or killed.
So, yeah....gonna start updating more so you guys know I'm okay.
