Hey all, doing a random update here to keep you, my quelling masses of worshipers, satisfied. ;p
First and foremost, a big shout to Veronica and me....it's our 2 year anniversary!
Not much changing, except for my midterms finally being over....my grades so far this semester are: A's in my Criminal Justice and Field Op classes, and C+'s for all my other classes. Which is odd, seeing as how I should have an A in Psychology....
Dorm life with Ben's been awesome. He has a game on his computer called Galactic Civilizations....if you mind the pun, it's outta this world ^_- Basically you choose an alien race (or humans, if you choose), build factories and labs and such on planets you own, explore space to colonize other planets, etc. Eventually you encounter other aliens, some good and some evil and you can either ally with them or go to war. Honestly, it's really fun and really, really addicting.
Tomorrow's plans are kinda lucid....going with Ben to his home church and probably lunch at his house. Not sure what else, though....all I know is he needs a day away from campus, and I'm getting there too. So this might be good for the both of us.
We just had a fire alarm go off....outside, a celebration called OAKtoberfest (since I live in Oakwood Dorms) had a bon fire going, the smoke from which set off the alarms....no skin off my neck. I grabbed some hot apple cider and waited contently for the doors to reopen.
Right now, I am sore and tired, and not sure why. My muscles have ached since yesterday and there's been no reason for it: strangely, it's my arms that hurt, and I cannot remember lifting anything heavy in particular....
Meh, I'm alright. As my friend Ashlee said, today's just an off day....just trying to make it through the day without fighting with Ver and trying to enjoy our 2nd year together.
