Travel to the past with me....
Okay, so, official first LJ blog entry! I thought I'd start off by moving some of my posts from my 360 over here and look back on them. I blogged regularly on 360 for over two years and was really disappointed in Yahoo that they let all the 360 users down. They scrapped it and left users hanging for over 6 months with no news as the whole thing fell apart around us. Not good. I pestered and pestered ALL of their different customer services departments trying to get an answer out of them as to what was going on, but, alas, nothing came of it. I got a standard email, but that was about it.
Without further ado, come with me, back in time to Wednesday 24 May 2006, and to my first official Yahoo 360 entry.
First 'Official' Blog Entry!
I'm a bit of a Yahoo fan boy, they've always been my onlineits of choice. So when my messenger said 'free blog beta' I'd thought I'd give this a go. Since there seems to be a real fuss about these things. Let's find out why eh?
There's a lot of nothing going on at the moment, but that's cool. And tomorrow is thursday; and I don't work on a thursday so it's offto my FLGS and to chill out with my friends. All of whom love this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD4OnHCRd_4 . Which you should too.

Wow. Things sure have changed with regard to my opinions of Yahoo. That's quite the feat since I was a loyal customer for over 10 years! Reminds me of a certain magic user who lives by the sea.... I did find out what all the fuss was about though and throughly enjoyed running my 360. I remember having Thursdays off. It sucked because all my friends and my then girlfriend (now wife!) worked and I had sod all to do. But it was also good as it broke up the working week and gave me the opportunity to build a strong relationship with Phil, the god of our FLGS. I've really missed him and his store since I moved away. Okay, lets re-watch that link and see what I think 2 years on.
Okay - rewatched. In two words, fuckin' awesome! Click the link and enjoy, as good today as it was two years ago. I'm still waiting for this to come out....
