Yet ANOTHER trip in the works
kauko and myself are also planning a 19+ day trip to AZ & NM towards the end of May of 2007. That also started as a "what if" too, and he and I sat down for about 5 hours on Monday and actually planned and budgeted it out. We already have 2 of the 5 hotels/resorts/lodges already booked. I'm also using some of my timeshare points to put us up for 4+ days to help reduce the costs of the trip. Also while in AZ, I'll have a chance to sell am original painting by Ross Stephan. It should sell for (crosses fingers) 10K to 20K.

*The time share can only be booked for minimum of 1 week. So mostlikely, we'd head home on May 31st (still in dicussion)
(FYI: Of COURSE we wanted hawthornecub to go, but he his job only lets him take a max of 7 days off at a time). Plus going on a trip to sell a valuable painting also justifies AND pays for my 1/2 of the trip.
