Well, it's been awhile. The funeral and services for my grandfather were Weds and Thurs of last week, we finally got the last of the relatives out on Tuesday. About a dozen flew or drove in. Which meant that I got well acquainted with sleeping on the couch. The services were quite nice, very touching, and the people who chose to speak at the viewing made us all laugh, and a few of them did their best to edit history. I chose not to, things that need to be known should already be known, and your own loss if they aren't. I think I've gained 5 pounds from everyone sending over rich food though, lol.
Things are slowly getting back to normal now, come Monday I think I'll be centered again one way or another. Been puttering around the house, doing what needs to be done, as it seems quite a few of the electronics and mechanical systems stopped working. So much for a triumphant return, but it's been something to think about. It's been a long few months.
Also, note to self, no going outside at dusk, went out for about 3 minutes and came back in with 12 mosquito bites.
