public post: "so you're single?" "not exactly" - Sam/Jack discussion
Question for Sam/Jack shippers or anyone who cares to add in their two cents.
How many of you think the writers were hinting that Sam and Jack were together during seasons nine and ten? I mean, it would have been a perfect time for them to begin some sort of relationship, even if long-distance, because Sam dumped Pete, whatsherface dumped Jack, Jack left the SGC, and not to mention they spent time together at his cabin after Threads (and 'again' after Moebius).
I ask this not on a whim, but based on a lot of the content of seasons nine and ten, from Sam's iffy answer to Barrett's "are you single" question to all of the alternate Sams in 'Ripple Effect' being either pregnant, on a honeymoon, or in a relationship-status. I know that there was a confirmation in the deleted SGA scene, but I'm wondering if we can place them as somewhat officially together towards the end of season eight/early season nine? I don't know, it seems like such a perfect time line for something to have happened, I'm thinking post-Threads.
