Sometime in the near future if anybody brings up the presidency, the
white house, convention centers, the state of the union, elevators,
hunting, texas, the forest, birds, attorneys, etc in Schmeid's AP
English Literature course

So uhh yeah speaking of the state of the union one time I'm at this
teacher's convention in Washington D.C. and there must have been
thousands of teachers there at this convention center its this biig
place with these soaring ceilings and it is very impressive to go to
its actually called (insert name here) center funny it was named after
(person it was named after) and he has this quote in a book, I forget
the name I think the author was (thinks for five minutes) oh its
escaping me... oh I know its (author) and he says "I hate convention
centers" so there is this wonderful irony behind the naming of the
center. And uhh, oh. Well I'm in this huge convention center and there
must be thousands of teachers here for this uhhh conference and I go
over to the elevator and I get in and there standing next to me is the
President of the United States, and about ten secret service agents.
So I look over at him and smile and he looks back and smiles and uhh
well then so I say 'You're doing a pretty good job running the
country' and then he looks away and gets off at the next floor, I
guess he had a lot of stuff to do, so that's my encounter. I guess the
man was kind of busy and all, running the free world, and, uh I guess
he didn't want to speak to me, but I was happy because I saw the
President. Now that was about ten years ago. I didn't see a vice
president until three years ago. So uhh yeah, there I am, walking in
the woods in Texas, oh and they're beautiful, the woods in Texas have
lots of birds, so there I am admiring the birds and I hear a gunshot.
And so I look over, uhh and uh there is Dick Cheney clutching the dead
body of an attorney. So I walk over to him, realizing who he is and I
say 'Nice day out, huh' and he kind of stared at me and muttered
something and just walked off with the body, and the blood is oozing
(gestures with hands) on the ground, so I figured he had important
stuff to do and I didn't follow him, I let him be. So that's my
experience with Dick Cheney. Anyway, on to the AP review, remember the
AP is tomorrow... (Bell rings)
