I was talking with one of my co-workers today about a journal I bought with Engrish on it. It has on one side written "Love the heart that hurts you, but never hurt the heart that loves you."

Brandon Monahan said, "Ah, everything is more prosaic when you say it backwards."

I responded, "Except for 'racecar.'"

Ended up having a free day today that was unexpected. I was drawing an older character and a new one suddenly jumped into my brain and demanded to be drawn. So, I did.

I have not fallen off the face of the planet. Thank you to those of you who sent concerned e-mails, called my cell, and my house. I could tell you I was busy which would be the truth, but I'm always busy and really it's not that interesting to know about, so instead I'll just write about some of the books I've read lately.
