When I was young, I took piano lessons. When it was time to practice, I would lay the piece on the piano and study it - really visualizing how I was going to play it. Then I'd place my fingers on the keys and say to myself, "Now I am going to play this song perfectly

Nah, I sure don't. I picked up guitar a few years later, and I even taught lessons for a few years once I finished high school, but I've forgotten almost everything I learned on piano. Do you play?

I wish.. No, but I really liked piano when I was a kid. I never took lessons (or took it seriously) so nothing came out of it.. I tried to learn guitar in high school but I wasn't any good so I quit that after a year or so.
I love music, but I'm just not very musical... :/
