Nah, it only goes back to the sixties. Hell a good number of rallies have communist groups speak. They make up a solid core of regular protestors.

I went into a JBS office one time (oh, back in '78 it was) because it was there, (right next to the Fish and Chips place) I never did go to a meeting, but had thought about it. In fairness to me I was going thru a serious "ultra-conservative" phase......I mean JC was the president, and while I remember seriously considering voting for him, fortunately I have a block on whether I did or not.
