What's up with that Kasich guy?

Out of nowhere, in comes Kasich. He ended up 2nd in New Hampshire in the GOP primary, and I was like, "John-Who?" But then again, I'm something of an outsider to US home politics, granted. So I'd appreciate some education here.

John Kasich is the new John Huntsman. You remember President Huntsman's triumphant 2012 march to the White House after spending all his resources, energy and capital on becoming a runner up in the New Hampshire primary?

I still think Trump has a hard ceiling of about 25% of the party, but he has proved me, and nearly everyone else, wrong time and time again. I don't particularly want my country to elect a caudillo of either the Trump or Sanders variety.

Kasich really improved, in the first couple GOP debates he made kinda weird impression and seemed to be another boring politician with no message at all, but he became more interesting. Maybe there is a chance for him in this campaign, but it still seems unlikely at this point.
