I make some GREAT Jewish chicken noodle and matzo ball soup. Latkes goes great with it!

My mother would tell you, that the minute you use the word 'noodle' its not Jewish soup. Luction yes, noodle, no.
And latkes go with applesauce.

Last Passover, my soup was a big hit. Especially when Teddy tried to get into the pot and ended up knocking it on the floor. I ran in the kitchen to find him standing in a puddle of soup trying to gobble down a matzo ball as big as his head before I could get it away from him. Yeah big fun for him. For me, not so much.

Tell Mom: Noodles, smoodles. :-P I'm from Virginia. Whatever you call them gizmos, I use em. I'm using a Sheepshead's Bay Jewish family recipe. I love it. In fact I had it for three days earlier this week during the cold spell. I can't ever go back to canned chicken noodle soup. *blech*

Luction are hand cut noodles - tedious as hell, I made them once with my grandmother and decided I'd stick with matzo balls.
