Obama Wants to Make America More Like Sweden When Swedes Trying to Move in the Opposite Direction

Oct 06, 2012 20:26

Amazing American liberals-socialists are ready to follow their leader taking for granted all told by them. And it's dangerous if  47% are able most likely take for granted everything there leader saying beautifully even if it will ruin themselves. The significant example is the Obamacare. No one understands its gist, but all are it accepting.

So an unaccountable corporate board deciding who lives and who dies is a better option?

Yes because they are accountable to the market, see? Companies will have to compete, so they will serve people better than government will. Think of how well people are served by airlines and mobile phone carriers.

But you know what's better? NOT forcing them to compete! How anti freedom is it to have Big Government enforcing laws like anti-trust laws and anti-monopoly laws? It's killing our economy, I'm telling you. How's a megacorporation supposed to survive in this climate. They're just going to move somewhere else like Somalia if we don't bend to their every whim and desire.

Or more likely, to the Cayman islands. And if you go to the Cayman islands to search for some company's HQ, all you'd find would be sands and palms.

"Where's Megaimportexport Ltd, dammit?"
"Behind the next rock, Sir".

I got a Romney ad before that C&W song. I don't think that's what you meant.

But you are right, of course.

It cuts $716 billion from Medicare to pay for it This is a lie, and you should be ashamed to push it.
It has killed jobs because small businesses think it makes them less likely to hire people Small businesses do not thing. Corporations are not people.
The Congressional Budget Office has said Obamacare will cost $2,500 a year more than traditional insurance. Private sector typically is able to provide a better product at a lower cost. So it's expensive. Expensive things hurt families. Medicare is far more efficient than private insurance.
It puts in place an unelected board that's going to tell people, ultimately, what kind of treatments they can have This is also a lie.

Did you just take this from MItt Romney's top forty greatest hits? It's bullshit, all of it.

Romney is right. His victory in the debates confirmed it. Obama bowed his head.

Romney lied through the entire debate. One debate does not an election make.

If we actually had private health care, then we wouldn't be that far down in the rankings. Moving us towards even less private health isn't going to improve that.

So I'm going down the list and trying to figure out where we would find the best health care system with, at most, the amount of government intervention in the market that we find in the United States. Since you seem to be rather confident in your assertion that more "private health care" is better than less (whatever you mean by "private health care"), I figure you might know?

I mean - it's clear that many nations with more public health care systems than we find in the U.S. rank ahead of it on the list. I'm not sure how you explain that, given that you think our ranking is at least partly a consequence of our lack of privatization. But, ah, there must be some evidence supporting your claim - right? Right?

You should've checked who the top ranking countries in that ranking are, before you had spoken.
