the next issue of the L Magazine, after the one this Wednesday, is the New Yorkers Photo Issue. the senior designer put out a call for submissions last month to all contributing photographers. basically the only criteria was that the pictures had to be taken of people in New York. i submitted 3 just on a whim like 2 days before the deadline. i didn't think i'd hear back from them but i got an email today saying "Great photos!" and asking me to send them again in hi-resolution format with a brief bio and the titles/locations/subject information/format of the photos.
so assuming they don't run out of space and decide not to include my work, check it out on June 6th!
