Okay, I will have a little talk. And it's gonna be all about American Idol last night, I mean the pre-finale. (I'm sorry my grammar may sucks, here, because I never wrote a review of a performance yet until today, so I'm not used to)
Acoustic Rocker versus the Glam Rocker.
Conway versus California.
The Guy-Next-Door versus the Guyliner.
(OH man I'm positive that Ryan was giving himself a satisfaction when he said the last lines, LOL! I saw that from the way he smiled)
Round 1: Woot, Adam went first! I still want him to go last, though, because saving the best for the last is one of my favorite things to do. But it's o

kay, I knew he is going to do me proud. This round 1 the contestants were going to do a reprise song, hmmhh I know I don't like reprise songs, but okay, still wanting a new song, though. Adam sang Mad World, which has been the most WOW song in the entire season, according to Simon Cowell (I have my own 'the most WOW Adam's Song'). It started all dark with blue-ish fog and a little blue light, this time Adam didn't sit on chair and sing, this time he walked around the stage with those long black coat, man he was wearing all black from head to toe, lol, no complain here. Vocally, I think he did better in the Top 7 performances, but last night was more epic in the performance, despite of Cowell calling his coat "too theatrical". Yeah, I thought so too, Cowell, but I think it wasn't bad, it was EPIC, he was cool on that stage, I love the coat. And besides, we are not talking about costumes (okay, costumes matter, and this is not the first time Cowell ever talked about costumes, or clothes, or blah) here, we are actually talking about his vocal, Cowell, soooo why didn't you judge his vocal too? or did you?.
And then here came the guy-next-door (LOL, Ryan, it was okay, man). He won some sort of 'front-back coin games' and chose to go last. Yeah, whenever I have to perform I will probably choose to go last, too, I don't want to be the 'warm-up' or whatever you call it. Kris sang his best song in the season, Ain't No Sunshine (my favorite of his is actually She Works Hard for the Money, but maybe that song is a too 'little' for this event). He got the piano on his hand, I hardly remember the way he sang it, not because I don't like him, it's just that Adam was all I could think about, but the vocals were okay, he played the piano beautifully, and won Simon's heart for round 1. So, Kris won the round 1 according to His Highness, Simon Cowell. Though the one who won my heart is always Adam Lambert, and Adam Lambert only. But it's okay, like I said earlier, I always know that Adam will do me proud, he will do us proud. Then it was commercial time! I wasted my times browsing and surfing the internet, while having Lay's as my snack (I love Lay's esp the Nori Seaweed flavor). When the commercial ended, I got back with my TV remote, and the TV itself, sitting only few centimeters from the TV. Because it was Adam's turn.
Ding Ding it's Round 2: for this round 2, the contestants had to sing songs that Simon Fuller picked, Simon Fuller is so

meone who created the whole thing, he is the one who created the American idol. To be honest with you, I was kind of worried of Simon's pick, he may have picked the songs randomly and not thinking that the song may not fit the contestants. Well it's the contestants' job to make the songs fit them, I know. By the way Adam sang Sam Cook's(some said Sam Cooke) song Change Is Gonna Come, let's see. The sound of drums 'deng deng deng' opened the song, with Adam now wearing gray suit but still with nail polish and eyeliner (no, it's not a complain I swear to you), very very handsome. Then his high notes continued it, "I was born by the river" in such a beautiful way, then "in a little tent" with his low and smooth register, OH GOD I'M DYING. He did all his best with the song, blended it all in that song that I-may-would-not-have-known-about-if-adam-did-not-sing-it. I decided to hear the original version, it was a boring song. BUT Adam interpreted the song AMAZINGLY, it was very, very smart and I'M SERIOUSLY MELTING TO THE GROUND and I am not bored with the Adam's version, oh God, he may has been the most epic contestant that American Idol has ever had. After he finished he pointed to the two guitar players that played for him to show his respect, aaawww that is very kind of him that I love, woo, all the judges agreed with me! Randy said it was unbelievable. Kara called it the best performance and interpretation from the beginning of the competition. Paula agreed with Kara and added that "whatever happens in this Idol journey, you will be iconic" YEAH PAULA!. Simon said that Adam were one hundred percent back in the game, okay.. but actually I never thought that he was out of the game, but he could sing your face off couldn't he? HA!.
*cough* okay, now it was Kris' turn. He used his guitar this time, his acoustic. He sang What's Going On, a Marvin Gaye's song. I never heard the original song before, but I'm sure he made interpretation of the song. No need to let you know about the performance, I always thought that Kris is okay, but he wasn't okay enough, but by the way just to let you know he played his acoustic guitar and sat on a chair during the performance. I knew that this kind of arrangement for finale would not be good enough, and actually the judges agreed with me (two of them, actually), Randy said it was a little bit too light for the big room, Simon said that it was too laid back. But the other two, Kara and Paula said that they liked it. I know, I liked it too, but it's just too light, you know what I'm saying, Dawg? No, seriously, Kris is the genre of music I usually listen to, Kris is good. But Adam is great, so yeah. Maybe Adam is the next genre I will 'usually' listen to. Sooo, who won the round 2, Cowell? "million percent Adam" YES!.
The Last Round: the contestants this time had to sing the coronation song, it was co-written by our judge, Kara DioGuardi, I know that she's been writing for so many artists a

nd this time I hope the song will be great. But it seemed that God did not grant my wish, because the song was crappy! The lyrics is rubbish and silly! the mountains and the hurricanes, many people said that it was the worst coronation song ever on Idol, shit, why now? It was fugly, but the same time I thought the song was okay(call me weird) and I actually cried when Adam was performing it. I couldn't get Adam's voice out of my mind, Graahhhhh. He sang it really really well, and when the chorus started I could feel the greatness of his vocals, despite of the silly lyrics -yes I think the lyrics are silly-,he had given me a joy. Let's see what the judges said, Randy said that Adam can sing the phonebook, but it was a little pitchy in the start. No, don't get me started, Randy, it was not pitchy, I have tried to look at the both contestants and tried to think as objective as I could be, but his vocal is incredible. Kara said that she's honored that Adam sang the song they've written. Paula said the adjective words couldn't express what he's brought to the show. Simon said that they've found the worldwide star.
Let's move on to the guy-next-door (oh I just think it's so funny). Kris could sing, but I think I will blame the song that Kris wasn't in tune, and he hardly reached the high notes. His easy to listen voice fitted the song, and it was cool, like I said, I have tried to be as objective as I could be, but I still think that Kris' voice was just plain, he was no match for Adam. Though Randy said that the song fitted better with Kris, but it was just his opinion, I think the song didn't really fit the two contestants, IMO. I will blame the writers, it was crap!. The other judges said good things about it. But this time Ryan didn't ask Cowell who won. I think it was Adam if you ask me, I am being honest and objective, his vocal technique is just that good. STILL blaming the song writers.
The conclusion is, Adam for the win. Kris may win tonight, but Adam has already won in my heart. If Adam does not win, I'll know it's not because he's not good enough, it's because of another story. Adam has been my American Idol from the beginning. BUT STILL let it be Adam, God! If Adam loses, who would console me? I'm around Kris' fans! And I will smash things! I don't want anything to be smashed! But I will! Still I'll say it again, whoever wins this thing, Adam is the best. I knew it, and I still know it. Oh yeah, this post may sounds too biased, I'm sorry.
