Captain America, Haven
Went with the Chicago Crew to see Captain America Friday night, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. My review consists of three words: NEEDS MORE BUCKY. Sebastian Stan, a.k.a. Prince Jack from Kings, was perfect as Bucky, and the Steve/Bucky? I ship it. I ship it HARD. Needless to say, I was mucho bummed when Bucky fell off the train. But after the movie was over, 
frostfire_17 brought me great joy by telling me that Bucky comes back in the comics. He's not really dead! YAY!!!! I'm ready to read the swoontastic reunion fic, people. Get on it. *taps foot* If you need some guidance, the kink meme is here: http://capkinkmeme.livejournal.com/ . It seems to be getting off to a slow start, which makes me kinda sadface. I guess Captain America is not going to explode the way XMFC did. Oh, well, I'm still going to enjoy the first flush of new ship love. You don't even want to know the idea I have for a Steve/Bucky vid. Be forewarned: once I get my hands on a cam, the sap will be running thick and sweet! haha
The other thing I just finished watching is Season One of Haven, on the excellent advice of
thedivinegoat. She basically had me once she mentioned the OT3. And what an OT3! Audrey Parker, the female lead character, is such a likable, funny person, as well as being competent and badass. Nathan the policeman is the requisite woobie with daddy issues, and Duke is the charming bad boy. Perfect recipe for hotness! Even better, Nathan and Duke have a history that has created delicious, delicious tension between them. Like, Nathan wants to hate Duke, but he just can't. And they both like Audrey and she likes them both, and it's simply too good. Frostfire tells me there is good OT3 fic for Haven from Yuletide, so Imma go seek that out, pronto.
