I'm officially in! I wasn't all that worried about making it in since I was #1 on the waitlist, but it's good to know for sure. I signed up for a Club Vivid song, so hopefully this will be the year I see a vid of mine premiere at Vividcon. *boogies* If I have time, I might even try to squeeze out a Premiere vid, but I'm not going to stress about it

I'm a slow vidder, and I have accepted that about myself.
It's often better to feel more comfortable about the end result than rush through. Good luck on the vids!
Again, yay, VividCon! We can kibbitz in realtime about SV and vids. {g}

Yeah. I just don't like to put that much pressure on myself. If I'm not taking pleasure in the process, then I'm really defeating the purpose of having vidding as a "fun" hobby. That's why I don't know if I'll ever get around to actually mastering the technical side of vidding (avisynth, special effects, etc). I just don't enjoy that stuff very much. With each vid, I learn the bare minimum of what I need, and then I move on.

And yay, for submitting 'Objection (Tango)' to Con.txt. :D Very cool! And you deserve every bit of praise for that brilliant, brilliant vid which I just watched for the fiftieth time. :D

I have the vidding bug soooo bad at the moment, but with guests staying it's terrible! I'm always trying to sneak time on my laptop! And of course I've chosen now to start a mammoth Lex vid. I'm just at that point where I'm beginning to see just what a huge task I've undertaken... eep!

Ohhhh. Are you doing all 7 seasons of Lex, or are you limiting it? Just to give you an idea, "Cobrastyle" took 2 months of prep work just to get the clips I needed. Of course, I was looking for very specific sorts of clips--ones with movement--so it might not take someone else as long. I find that putting all the work in at the front end is tedious, but makes the actual "editing" process go very quickly. What's your process at the beginning stages?
