ARMY PARK

After the message section, Kitayama and Tamamori move to the middle of the main stage and give a short introduction to the next section, Army Park.  They talk about how Senga can do a lot of different styles of dance.  He produced the Army Park section and it’s about 5 minutes of only dancing.  As they’re saying this, Senga walks out to stand on the walkway that connects the middle and main stages.  That area’s not lit yet, but you can see him there getting ready.

There’s not much I can do to describe Army Park since it’s just dancing, but wow is it impressive.  It does an incredible job at showing off how talented they all are at dancing.  The music itself is very beat heavy and sounds militaristic (well, it is ARMY Park).  Oh they look SO GOOD~!

They all have those white baggy pants that say “BREAK” down the left pant leg and “JUNKY” across the butt in a gold calligraphy font.  All the tops differ.  I already described Kitayama’s and Tamamori’s before, but I’m not totally clear on the others (since I don’t watch them often).

Towards the end of Army Park, it looked like Nikaido was reaching into his shirt (like near the collar to his left shoulder).  Couldn’t see clearly, but it had to be that his mic/earpiece had fallen into his shirt (they had them hooked around their necks, but with all the dancing…)

PIRATES PARK

The ending pose for the Army Park section is all of them lying around the middle stage.  I… only know where Kitayama and Nikaido are.  Haha…  If it were a clock with the 12 at the walkway connecting the middle and main stages, then Kitayama was between the 4 and 5… and Nikaido was in the center.

When the opening of Kaizoku starts, Nikaido gets up and instead of Fujigaya, he says, “Ladies and Gentlemen… It’s Pirates Park!”  On the VTR screens they didn’t change it to that until the 3rd show (but it said “It’s PiratesPark!”) and then it said “It’s Pirates Park!” at the last show.

I must say that I missed the original version of this song.  They still cut out the part where Kitayama did the beat boxing thing, but since they mixed it with ABC’s Crush for the EbiKisu concerts, and then used the rock version for the last tour, it was nice hearing this version again.

During the choruses towards the end, Kitayama, Yokoo (?), and Nikaido moved towards the back stage, while the others went to the main stage.  I wasn’t looking, but Tamamori must have left around this time to get ready for the next song.

SEMPAI MEDLEY (… I kinda want to say that this is where COMEDY PARK starts, but it seems a little disrespectful to say that the Sempai Medley is a part of ‘Comedy’ Park… Well, I guess it could still be a part of PIRATES PARK if you think about it in a round-a-bout way.  ^^;  Oh well.  For all I know, it’s not even part of one of the parks.)

First up is Tamamori with Daite Senorita.  He uses his yellow skates microphone stand (the ones from last year’s tour’s version on Kaizoku) but was wearing the glittery gold outfit that he wore for the opening of the EbiKisu concerts.  Not sure if he performed center of the main stage or towards the left side.

Next was Miyata with Kanjani8’s KyuJo Show.  He used the Comedy Park platform and was wearing his red, white, and blue outfit.  I never noticed before, but his is probably the least retarded looking out of that set since it’s mostly blue and white (if you can’t tell, I dislike these outfits A LOT.)  It’s fitting that Miyacchi would perform a Kanjani8 song.  ^^;

I was kind of surprised at Yokoo’s outfit.  He was the only one who decided not to use one of their existing outfits and wore a school uniform (the traditional kind… I wonder if it was his…) with the Ouendan style white straps.  He sang Honey Beat and I had to laugh since that was the song he’d gotten for that recent Jr. Colosseum.  He says a short message for those who just graduated and will be trying new things with this new year.

Kitayama, wearing the yellow outfits from the last tour’s Kaizoku/Hair performances… that I think they used on Shokura once.  And since he was singing Tackey&Tsubasa’s Yume Monogatari, he wore funky glasses to wish Tackey a Happy Birthday.  It was cute and he totally had a blast with it, dancing all funky and playing with the pink glasses (or were they yellow…) that said ‘Happy Birthday’ across the top of them.

Nikaido is up next, saying that he’ll be singing TOKIO’s Sorafune because he likes manly sempai.  I guess that does suit him more than some of the other sempai… especially when he fails when quizzed on Johnny’s things on Shokura.  He was wearing the blue outfits (the ones that they were wearing when they performed Endless Road in the November 07 Shokura… oh.  Has it been that long since they first performed Fire Beat?  Wow.)  He was riding a cart that went through the center seats on the left (if you’re facing the stage) of the ramp connecting the middle and back stages

Fujigaya comes out next on a cart going through the center seats on the right of the ramp connecting the middle and main stages.  He announces that they’ll be going with KAT-TUN on their upcoming tours.  He sings Love Yourself.  It’s a little bit too high for his range… but he manages.  He was wearing the black, red, and gold outfits that we haven’t seen in FOREVER.  Thankfully, it was void of that white crap (I mean fabric) they added at some point in 2007 or 08.

Last up was Senga, who sang Arashi’s Troublemaker on the main stage.  He was wearing his track suit and honestly, my impression was just that everything was so BRIGHT.

At the Japanese Park platform (located on the back stage), Kitayama, Tamamori, and Nikaido gather in those white suits with the gold glittery fade thing to sing Kimi Dake Ni.  I’ll mention this here since it was really funny, but at the first concert, when staff set up the microphone stands for them, Kitayama’s was the same height as him, so he couldn’t use it.  He made it all cute by pointing it out and standing right next to it so we could see.  Then there’s that part where they all go down on one knee.  Kitayama and Tamamori (poor Nika was left out) would turn to stare at the camera and would keep blinking (first at the camera and then at each other).

Then on the main stage, Fujigaya, Yokoo, and Senga performed Kamen Budoukai, wearing the black sparkly suits from Playzone.  You know?  I think about it sometimes but I wonder what the members of Hikaru Genji and Shounentai actually think when they see their songs made popular again by Kisumai.  Like, EVERYONE in the audience knows the dance for some of their songs, especially this one.  Just a thought.

COMEDY PARK

Man, when the music for Koi no ABO starts, the audience goes crazy.  They don’t actually do it (or even sing it), but I’m pretty sure I’m not alone when I say that I think of Miyata when I hear this song, not NEWS.

Anyway.  Miyata is wearing his Miya-T and headband, but instead the backpack, he’s got this blue paper shopping bag (large enough to cover his back) and the handles are long enough for him to wear it like a backpack.  I don’t really get why he didn’t just use the original bag.  Oh well.

He calls over to the guys on the main stage first, calling them to join him on the middle stage.  He marches around the stage going, “Miyata, Miyata, Miyata-ta~!  Miyata, Miyata, Miyata-ta~!”  Then he tells the guys from the back stage to come to the middle stage too, repeating his chant.  At one of the shows, the guys from the front (well, mostly Fujigaya) chanted, “Senga, Senga, Senga-ga~!” as the came down the walkway and then when the others came from the back, they (well, ok.  Kitayama) chanted, “Tama-chan, Tama-chan, Tama-chan-chan~!”  It was cute.

He tells them all to change into their Miya-T’s, tossing them at the boys.  At the first show, only Fujigaya was wearing a tank top under his clothes, but for the rest of the shows, they all did that.  Some were white, some were black, and why do I feel so weird remembering something like that?  Anyway.  While they’re changing, Miyata sings the chorus to Koi no ABO (no music), while jumping and clicking his feet together.  I’ll mention this again later, I’m sure, but Miyata singing is actually REALLY NICE.  He should sing more often.

Enter the Miya-Gee.  For every show, he gave an amusement park related situation, to which each of the guys have to say something really sweet to the girl they’re with.  I’m not sure if everyone knows how the Miya-Gee works, so I’m just gonna explain it.

You know that part in Kis-My-Calling where they go, “Ki KITAYAMA, S Senga, M Miyata, Y Yokoo”?  The Miya-Gee is doing that, but when they get to “2”, instead of saying “Nika-chan da yo~!”, the person in the middle has to give their answer to the situation.  Usually, they only have to do it once, but if you’re kinda fail (like Miyata) then you have to do it again and again.  This is what is currently called the Miya-Gee.  It used to be trying to push the other person off the platform with your butt and I’ve also seen a relay version, but this is how they’ve been doing it since the last tour’s Yokohama concerts.  Maybe pushing other people down the ramped platform was too dangerous (it was highly amusing, but yeah, saw some of the guys in piles at the bottom sometimes) and the relay wasn’t something they wanted to be doing during an already very physically taxing concert, but yeah.  I guess this version has its advantages.
