[concert notes] Kis-My-Ft2 Everybody Go (110709, 1800 北海道)
As I sit here in the dark, waiting for SOMEONE to wake up, I thought I'd type up my notes from last night's show. Not a full on report. Might save that for tonight's show (or Hiroshima's). It'll depend on how the show turns out and all that. Our seats were 2nd row stands, block B6.
Remember, I'm a Kitayama fan, so a lot of the time, I know what he's doing, but not necessarily what the others are.
Jrs. come out with smoke guns? Saw Sanada and then saw someone I thought was Sakuma.... but no. Not the Snowmen. Sanada and Nozawa with parts of Taiga-tachi.
1. Everybody Go
Kisumai rises from behind the main upper stage... and oh god. The costumes are REALLY BAD. D: And the colors are all wrong.
- Kitayama: Black fringe around his waist. There's also a white cape involved.
- Senga: Short sleeve, green scarf with lots of large sequins
- Miyata: Purple sash. Tail coat. Looked the most normal
- Yokoo: ... Don't quite remember, but his color might have been white? Or gray.
- Fujigaya: HUGE hat with feathers. Yellow. I think there with gun holsters involved.
- Tamamori: Big crown with feathers fanning out down the sides of his face... There's a long flowing veil... and bright pink sequined hot pants. It was seriously THE WORST thing I've EVER SEEN.
- Nikaido: Red circle on his back. Long sleeved with grid pattern on the front.
At first I thought it was Fujigaya in the crown and veil... and wondered how the hell they got him into that and on stage... but then looked closer and realized it was Tamamori. Immediately started to look at the others trying to figure out who was wearing what. And I was so distracted by the upper half of Tamamori's costume that when I looked back half a song later, I thought that he'd taken off his pants and had just missed it. Nope. There were just hot pants.
And oh god. They did not get out of these things fast enough.
2. (probably Wakamono Tachi by process of elimination)
Don't remember much. They were on the main stage but I was still in shock over the costumes.

I think this was their first time moving to the outer walkways? I remember Nikaido, Miyata, and Senga passing by.

Nika came out still trying to pull his 3D Girl sweater down. Mitsu's jacket changed. Not closed only at the collar anymore and it looks like it's a different material. He still has the same shirt underneath, but you can only see it when he raises his arms up.
6. 3D Girl
Main stage
☆Dance Break (Included parts from the first tour hall shows)
The music started and it was like OH! They did the light sabers and tried to imitate the effect of their bodies splitting into two by using curtains.
There was lots of dancing with lit up balls. It felt kind of long bnd not everyone was out at all times. Yokoo, Nika, Miyata, and Senga for this part. They kept moving towards the center stage via the outer walkways and once they got to the center, Senga stayed in front and the others attached their balls to cables hanging from the ceiling and several black veils dropped to cover them.
7. Fujigaya/Kitayama/Tamamori - Rock 'n Party
At some point when Senga was distracting us with his dancing, the members switched and when the song came on, Kitayama, Fujigaya and Tamamori were the ones in the veils being raised on the platforms.
I like this song a lot, but I don't actually know if Tamamori was just there or if he actually sang. They kept the body to body part... which was super hot until Kitayama did the leg lifting over Fujigaya's head thing and that's not ever attractive, even if it was slightly less awkward than it was at Crea.
8. Miyata's Corner (Miyata, Yokoo, Senga, Nikaido)
Starts off with Miyata dancing on the main stage. Like seriously dancing. It might have been sexy? It's hard to tell with Miyata. But then he opens his coat to reveal his Miya-Tee tucked into the pants from the green costumes (the ones from the EbiKisu con). There was a song... but I'm not sure what/who's song it was. There was no Miya-gee, but he still had the other members come out to do things.
Senga came out in sunglasses and a long silver coat with a white boa? I forget what he actually did though 'cause Yasui, Anderson, Taiga and a Junior I don't know came out with him dressed like girls. Wigs and all. Yasui was super cute and believable. His wig was shoulder length?
Yokoo told parts of Momotaro, Kisumai version. The return of Yokoo's drawings! :D And they were colored this time! He drew them as the characters... I think Nika was the dog (he did the howl), Senga was the monkey (and did his usual tsukkomi), and... did he draw someone as the bird? I'll pay better attention today. Oh. And instead of kibidango, I think we had Miyadango. haha... They were all colorful with big noses. I enjoy Yokoo's drawings. haha...
And then Nika did his monomane.
- Acrobatics into a Tsubasa monomane. Nika's able to do multiple flips at a time now! :D
- Someone brought out a race car helmet and he started to make those zooming past sounds. He really watches Arashi ni Shiyagare too much 'cause that's clearly where he learned how to do it. He'd make the noises and Miyata would say random people and Nika'd do a one line monomane in between the car zooms.
Kitayama came out with a HUGE paper fan and then there was a lot of hitting Miyata on the head. He, Fujigaya and Tamamori were in the red suits with the ugly scarves. The rest were in the green costumes.
9. Shooting Star
Like... it was a battle thing? 3 vs 4. But then the Green Team put on pieces of samurai armor and the Red Team put on mask and hats and they did a sword fighting scene? In the middle of Shooting Star and it was pretty long. Like. WHAT? And Senga was wearing the samurai helmet, but also a gray beard and was pretending to be old on top of that? I don't know.
They changed costumes... I think to these new ones that had their initials at the shoulders. They're kind of strange looking, but what really bugged me was that Kitayama's, Fujigaya's and Tamamori's were a different color from the other four. >.>
10. Eien no Ticket
There were lit up trees at different parts of the walkways. They all started off at the center stage. Oh. One thing I do remember thinking was that Tamamoti's singing voice has gotten a lot stronger. Yay for singing lessons!
Halfway through the song, their initials lit up in the trees and they all skated to their letters.
The song was ending but Tamamori? Fujigaya? One of them read a message written on a heart-shaped card for Tanabata.
11. KisーMyーLAND
When the music started, they all plucked their tickets off the trees.
In the middle part where they introduce the parks, they lined up in order down the center of the main upper stage, so as each person sang their part, you could see the other members behind them. For Ghost Park, Yokoo was peeking up over Fujigaya's shoulders making horrified faces. And of course when it was Pierrot Park, Miyata was having fun behind Tamamori. And then Kitayama used his ticket to cover Miyata's eyes during Comedy Park.

12. Tension
Was surprised to see that almost no one was doing the Tension hand motions in the audience. While there are fans who flew up for these concerts... majority was definitely local.

- Senga and Nika squishing close, making the fans kya. And then Mitsu asked why everyone went kya and when we said that it was because it's CUTE, he was like, Oh. So it's not because it's BL or anything. I see. hahahahahaha.... BUT THEN! O.O Miyata commented that the only thing he'd be paired up with is a towel, but then TAMA says, if it's Miyata, wouldn't it be ME? O.O *SHOCK* I thought Miyata was going to cry.
- They talked about how it's been a long time since they were all together, the 7 of them.
- Fujigaya asked if they'd seen the PV and it turned out that he (and maybe Tama) are the only ones who have seen the PV. I guess they ended filming early and were offered to be shown the video. He seemed to be surprised that the others hadn't seen it yet. He said that it looked good. Kitayama started to say that they were going to show a special preview of the PV... and then was like, "Just joking~!" >.>
- They talked about HEYx3 and how Miyata talked the most and stood out the most. And how he rubbed Hamada-san's head twice.
- Music Station~! I'm going to really, REALLY hope that they were joking when they said that they'd be wearing those opening costumes to M Ste. Like. That first performance is what they'll pull up EVERY TIME they show Kisumai and oh my god DNW!!!
And while they were on the topic of Music Station, Fujigaya talked about how they appeared, performing Tension and he thought that he was the one sitting next to Tamori during the talk and had his feathers poking into the shot.
- They brought Yasui, Sanada, Nozawa, and Taiga up on stage and talked to them for a bit. It was mostly Yasui at first, Kitayama asking him about the debut announcement and the envelope. Yasui said that he really had no idea what it was and had actually thought the paper inside would be a game or something telling them to do something funny.
Then Yokoo reminded everyone that there were other Juniors there on stage too and they talked to Sanada and Nozawa next. They advertised Hot Snow and Kisumai kept asking about Abe-chan. They also tried to get Nozawa to change his nickname "Non-chan". It turns out that one of his jhs friends gave him the nickname. A boy. Senga said he should change his nickname to 'Nozawa'. ... yeah.
Taiga and Nika did some 'Yay~! *air hi-five*' thing and Senga stepped in and asked what Taiga was doing with HIS Nika. Taiga got a little flustered and then asked if Senga wanted to do it too and Senga declined.
Overall, definitely not their best MC. Kinda shaky and a little awkward at points.

I MISS THE SNOWMEN. :(
Kitayama, Fujigaya, and Tamamori came out to talk a bit and Kitayama asked about the filming. Fujigaya said that even after knowing Tama for such a long time, it's nice to see a new side of him. Tamamori said that Fujigaya gets into character a few minutes before they start filming a scene and was like, "It's really nice," but he said it with this expression... like big eyes and grin. I don't know if I've ever seen Tama show that much emotion before. haha...
They do the usual promotion thing... but Tama says that it'll be on NTV and everyone is just like, "EH?!" We thought Tama was going to cry. He crouched down on the side, away from the fans and Kitayama went over to bring him back. and Tama was covering his face 'cause oh god. That is NOT an okay mistake to make. Fujigaya tried to cover for him saying that Misaki No.1 had been on NTV, but that Ikemen Desu ne! would be on TBS, but the damage was definitely done. It's a really good thing that this is Hokkaido and not Yokohama or something.
13. No.1 Friends
But with Tama on stage too. They showed some of the scenes from Ikemen Desu ne! and it looks good. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual drama. And... I may have snickered at the scene of Tama yanking Mio-chan forward. If you've seen the NG scenes, you know why.
I don't know if Tamamori actually sang or just stood there. I was watching the footage on the screens.
14. S.O.KISS
New costumes. Based on tuxes I think. Black coats and stuff, white under. Tama really must have pissed one of the stylists off. There were lots of ruffles on his shirt and it was long? With a belt?
The song though. I REALLY LIKED IT!

Okay... this was really weird. Sudden changes in songs, no transitions... Really abrupt.

I can almost guarantee that this is the bit they were practicing when they had to film the new jnet Everybody Go video. I understand now why Kitayama was wearing a hat in the video. There's no way he'd have been able to do this dance without practicing wearing a hat while doing it. I'd really like to see things thing from a frontal view.

The usual. Slightly different choreography in the middle. Performed on the middle stage.
17. FIRE BEAT
Taipi really needs to lose the had and the 3D Girl glasses. His head banging looked dumb 'cause he was trying to hold things on his head. Mitsu'd take the had off for the head banging.

Nika and Yokoo handle this for the most part.
18. KISS FOR U
Carts. Kitayama, Tamamori, and Fujigaya on the upper floor. Everyone else in the arena. Yokoo was randomly the only one wearing his skates. They had their long white coats on. The ones they wore on MS.
Song is a ballad. It's good, even though the lyrics are Tick Tack instead of Tock. :) I'm really glad that all the new songs that are going to be released on CD are GOOD. Very happy about that.

As soon as the music started to play, it was a very big !!!! moment, because we haven't seen them perform this since November 2007! I never understood why it wasn't ever in the previous concert set lists, but gah! ♡ And as weird as it seems, they sang the FULL version of the song with a verse we've never heard before!

Not my favorite concert ever. I don't like saying that and I really tried to keep my unhappiness out of my above notes, but separating the 3 and 4 really bothers me and they did that a LOT. Even at the end, only Fujigaya and Tamamori spoke. The sword thing was pretty pointlessly long... and just the flow of the entire concert was really choppy and felt... lacking. But really, the thing that needs to be changed first is Tama's first costume. The hot pants were a terrible and horrible idea that should never have been okay'd by ANYONE, members or staff.
Hoping that they make a lot of improvements for tonight's show.

Even at the end, only Fujigaya and Tamamori spoke. The sword thing was pretty pointlessly long... and just the flow of the entire concert was really choppy and felt... lacking. But really, the thing that needs to be changed first is Tama's first costume. The hot pants were a terrible and horrible idea that should never have been okay'd by ANYONE, members or staff.
Hoping that they make a lot of improvements for tonight's show.
