No one could of ever guessed that surely? My jaw hit the floor, I was so surprised.
I'm not sure whether to be excited or what, to be honest. I actually think I'm really happy with this choice. He was brilliant in 'Ruby In The Smoke' and seems like a really nice person, he could bring a lot of energy to the part and keep it fresh.
During the programme when he was talking he seemed very mature and smart, I reckon he'll give this everything he's got.
Plus I like them having someone who is relatively unknown, it means you aren't associating them with other things they've been in, it's just a clean slate.
I'm still really sad that David is leaving and those are SERIOUSLY big shoes to fill, but you know what, I'm looking forward to Matt's take over in 2010!
