show me what it looks like, outside your window at twilight
We had the most magnificant thunderstorm last night, I must of stood at the window for about an hour just watching the lightning streak across the sky. When it came overhead the thunder was loud enough to shake the windows and one bolt of lightning seemed to come right down into the paddock behind us, it was so bright I couldn't see anything but white light for about a minute and had to squeeze my eyes shut. There's this big tree in my neighbours garden (and I mean big, ridiculously so) and watching all the lightning backlight the branches, damn, so beautiful.
Plus I had to window open slightly so I could breathe in that smell, you know that real musty storm scent? I can't even describe it, but I love it.
Should probably be doing my work right now but not feeling particularly motivated, I really feel like making myself a new header and changing my LJ layout.
You might of noticed I swapped my mood theme for Supernatural, what can I say, it had to be done, I'm watching about two episodes of that show a night. I should probably clear up the fact that I'm watching Seasons 1-3 from my boxset, and season four sunday nights on ITV2. I'm at 2x14 and 4x14 respectively now.
It's hard watching them like this if I'm honest, because I'm watching season two and seeing how close they are, that bond that is so strong. I don't think I've ever witnessed love like it. And then there's season four where they're slowly drifting apart; too many secrets, too many lies. And it breaks my heart.
I think I'm going to stop watching season four and just record them all, and then when I've gotten through seasons 2 and 3 start watching again, it might be better for my health, haha. Plus it is confusing like this, I'm starting to get storylines mixed up in my head.
