Summer movies!
MOVIES I CAN'T WAIT FOR:
500 Days of Summer
Why it's going to be awesome: ZOOEY DESCHANEL mostly. OMG, she is such an adorable creature, and when she sings the Smiths song at the beginning I die of joy a little on the inside. It looks like it's going to to be adorable and indietastic and her chemistry with Joseph Gordon-Levitt is undeniable (Watch out Ben Gibbard! Except not really because Ben/Zooey are perfect).
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Why it's going to be awesome: Besides the fact that it's Harry Potter and we've been waiting way too long to see this film, I have high hopes. My favorite part of HBP is the Riddle backstory, and it seems to be done well. Plus who doesn't love an H/G kiss?
Away We Go
Why it's going to be awesome: Well, firstly, the obvious: It's JKras, even if he is beardy. But besides this it looks like this film is just going to be plain amazing and indietastic.
New York, I Love You
Why it's going to be awesome: It's the follow-up to Paris Je T'aime which is an INCREDIBLE film. If this film is half as adorable/perfect/unique as that one it'll be great. Plus it has the most amazing cast ever: Justin Bartha, Natalie Portman, Orli, Shia LaBeouf to name a few. PLEASE let there be a Boston release.
So guys, what amazing films are coming out this summer that aren't on this list. PLEASE let me know!
