Storming again. So we've got everything unplugged and are paddling about with battery powered laptops and the huge fuckoff UPS shield going.

NYE was pretty good. Sacked out at Tony's house outside until the pissfest storm kicked in, then we mostly sprawled in his loungeroom talking shit, bagging cheesy movies and debating how good Frank would look in drag. (According to him, it's already been tested, and he looks horrifying) Also ended up with a bunch of people invited over to our place on Australia Day to peer in awe at the fantastic new barbecue Torasin's parents gave us for Christmas.
Been reading an obscene amount of Dreiberg/Kovacs today. Etherati is just brilliant at nailing how delightfully fucked up the pairing dynamics are (especially on Rorschach's side). And watching Newsradio. And fucking around. And getting trampled on by ratties.
Last holiday before Australia Day. I'm gonna enjoy it, dammit. Term back on the 4th, wish me luck....
