Smelly smelly smell
Ugh. One of my neighbors burnt something. It's permeated my entire apartment. I even lit my scented candle and it's done little to alleviate my nostrils. Spew. I can't even tell what it was that they burnt. I first smelled it in my kitchen, so it's more than likely some form of burnt food. And it's NOT popcorn. Nasty! At times like these I wish my sense of smell wasn't so sensitive. Ewu. Ewu. Ewu.
At least it's not like college where some idiot burnt popcorn, brought it out in the hall, set off the fire alarm, and then we all had to leave the building. Baka! That got old real fast. So far no alarms have sounded and no sirens have been heard in the distance (which in and of itself is a major feat since I live less than five blocks from a busy fire station). I could bake cookies or something to counteract the bad smell, but that would be courting disaster. My oven is less than good about cooking/baking things evenly. Usually burning something in the process. I guess I'll just sit here and complain. Maybe I'll hover over my candle, or plug my nose. I think the candle would be less painful to my nose, but then there's always the danger that a burnt hair smell would be created to accompany the current bad-burnt-thing smell. ^_^;; (Don't worry, I'm not really gonna burn my hair. I'm not that dumb - that's what ponytails are for. lol)
