That was quick wasn't it? ;)
I decided to share my equination foal names. Equination.net is an online racing game. You can buy, breed, train and race virtual horses and I have had a ton of fun with it. Part of which has come from naming foals I bred. The first one was a purchase though--the rest are from mares an online buddy from the racing forum fixed me up with and a few purchases. Letter behind the name is f for filly and c for colt, sire's name is first then mare. Bull Lea is my own stallion. :)
Lleuad (f)(Welsh for moon): Moondoggie x Perfectum Polyamorous LTs
Nightmare in Grey (f): CR Dark Dream x Badder
Purloiner of Purses (c): Caught Red Handed x Montauk
Mon Belle Cheri (f): Caught Red Handed x Shari
Serenade for a Kiss (c): Mexican Kiss x Melody Amore (I was pretty happy with this one)
Carnelian King (c): Kingpin x All American Jewel-MDsp (tried to go with something that tied to the Marvel Universe character Kingpin but couldn't come up with anything--carnelian is a type of quartz)
Roi de Chat (c):Kingpin x Pretty Kitty
Kissabull and Wishabull (c) : Bull Lea x Wishful's One Gumball
Palace Bull (c) : Bull Lea x Royal Residence
Boo's Luv-A-Bull (f): Bull Lea x MK Boo's In Love
Dreamabull Velocity (f): Bull Lea x Dreamy Speed DSS
(and yes I might have gone overboard with Bull Lea's offspring names in using the "bull" but he is a new stallion and I was trying for "catchy" names to help "make" him--I really like the fillies names too)
And drum roll please--my personal favorite that I took a long time to think about. First the pedigree,he's a black colt out of Lovecraft (a black stallion) x Scottish Queen. I wanted a name that referenced both the Lovecraft preferably through some thing of the author's works and Scotland. I tried all sorts of combos, Monster in the Loch, Cthulhu in the Loch but nothing quite felt right then it hit me--the "perfect" name: Kilt Of Cthulhu. (manical cackling)
