(no subject)
So yesterday was probably She Eats Planets' biggest show. There were so many people at Toad's. We were giving away cds and buttons. We had at least sixty cds, and they are all gone. People danced and moshed (i think mark started the moshing) and gave us a very warm welcome.
I'm super happy for the people who showed up: Mark, Myk, Myk's sister, Jess, Leeda, Puck, Amanda, Casey, Meg, Scott, my old roommate and her brother. Also my mom and her friends Robin and Lisa.
I felt bad that I had to leave so early, because I had asked all these people to come. Myk was supposed to drive me to my car, but he carpooled with Meg and Scott, who had work in the morning. So, we all had to leave early. I forgot to take pictures too :( I wanted to get pics of my friends at a show.
Anyway, two of my highlights:
There was this band of really little kids, who were pretty damn good. Scott walked in while they were playing some nineties songs and says, "This is the most surreal trip to Toad's I've ever had."
And later that night while we were leaving Amanda said, "I've never seen people mosh to a song from the Little Mermaid."
It was awesome.
